Aurora Cordingley was integral in getting Johns Hopkins back into gear after a layoff of nearly one month. Her performances last week did more than just get the Blue Jays going.
Johns Hopkins won twice last week — 13-10 over Penn State and 17-10 over Rutgers — and Cordingley was at the center of each victory. The senior from Oakville, Ontario, scored six goals in each game, finishing with 13 points and 11 draw controls on the week. The two wins helped Johns Hopkins enter the Nike / US Lacrosse Top 20 at No. 14.
For her all-around efforts, Cordingley is the US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Player of the Week.
