The Brine/US Lacrosse Players of the Month recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
NORTHEaAST
Erin Coykendall, Spencerport (N.Y.)
The senior midfielder has eight goals and eight assists to lead Spencerport, which is off to a 3-0 start. Coykendall, who is headed to Northwestern, now has 166 goals and 203 assists since her freshman season.

MID-ATLANTIC
Olivia Dirks, Episcopal Academy (Pa.)
Dirks has helped Episcopal Academy jump out to a 7-0 start, including a 3-0 record in Inter-Ac conference play. The senior, bound for Penn State, tallied six goals, two assists and 10 draw controls in a key win over Agnes Irwin (Pa.) recently and now has over 100 goals and 300 draw controls in her high school career. She was named to the U.S. women’s U-19 team and selected in the first wave for the Under Armour All-American game.

SOUTH
Brianna Carrasquillo, Milton (Ga.)
The Yale commit has played a key part in the Eagles’ biggest wins, including tallying five goals against Bishop Ireton (Va.) and three goals, three assists and five draw controls against Hutchison (Tenn.). She also notched five-goal games against Lake Oswego (Ore.) and Kinkaid (Texas).
