Chloe Humphrey, the 2025 Tewaaraton Award winner, was named the IWLCA Attacker and Player of the Year on Tuesday following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
Humphrey led North Carolina to a runner-up finish and tied the NCAA Division I single-season goals record (109), set last spring by Northwestern's Madison Taylor. The sophomore did more than just put the ball in the back of the net. She added 50 assists for 159 points, second on the all-time single-season list.
She added 21 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers for good measure.
Reagan O'Brien (Johns Hopkins) was named the IWLCA Defender of the Year. She graduates as the all-time caused turnover leader (254) in Division I and caused 88 turnovers in her senior season, leading Johns Hopkins to its first final four as a Division I program.
After leading Maryland back to the final four for the first time since 2022, JJ Suriano is the IWLCA Goalkeeper of the Year. She finished first in the nation in saves (227) and was a USA Lacrosse first-team All-American.
Brigid Duffy (Army) was the best do-everything midfielder in the country this season, producing big numbers everywhere on the field, and is the IWLCA Midfielder of the Year. She produced 77 goals, 31 assists, 80 draw controls, 56 ground balls and 49 caused turnovers.
