Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Boston College tops the 2019 Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Preseason Top 20.
The Eagles soar into the season as the clear No. 1 returning reigning Tewaaraton winner Sam Apuzzo and the 2017 NCAA championship MVP Kenzie Kent.
Maryland, North Carolina, Florida and Stony Brook round out the top five.
2. Defending NCAA champion Yale leads the way in the 2019 Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men’s Preseason Top 20.
The Bulldogs graduated a transformative class but reload this spring with a key transfer from Albany, faceoff specialist TD Ierlan.
The 2018 NCAA runner-up Duke lands at No. 2, followed by Maryland, Cornell and Virginia.
