Charley Bacigalupo, Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.)
In a huge week for Sacred Heart Greenwich, which included a signature 9-8 victory over Darien
(Conn.), Charley Bacigalupo separated herself from the pack. The senior midfielder had six goals, one assist, 18 draw controls, and nine ground balls as the Tigers defeated Darien and Taft (Conn.). The Notre Dame commit has 28 draw controls in the Tigers’ last three wins. “She’s been outstanding the last three games, making an impact on both ends, controlling the draw, and showing she’s a true leader and competitor,” Sacred Heart Greenwich head coach Jackie Goldman said.
Also notable: Alexis Canfin, Irvington (N.Y.); Delaney Clark, Kellenberg (N.Y.); Ella Collins, Pleasantville (N.Y.); Ella Gould, Nyack (N.Y.); Kamryn McCrary, Comsewogue (N.Y.); Brooks Sullivan-Pagano, Hicksville (N.Y.)

Lainey Minderlein, Maryvale (Md.)
Lainey Minderlein finished her junior season with 23 goals, three assists and 21 draw controls. She would have had more had she not missed four games due to injury, but it’s not how many, but rather when she scored them that mattered most. Almost half of her goals came during the Lions’ historic IAAM A Conference title run. After scoring four goals in an 18-9 IAAM quarterfinal win over Notre Dame (Md.), she had a pair of goals, an assist and a draw control in a 9-8 overtime semifinal win over top-seeded McDonogh (Md.). In the final Friday, Minderlein scored Maryvale’s final five goals and had a draw control as the Lions defeated Archbishop Spalding (Md.) 7-5 for their first IAAM crown since 2002. Minderlein is committed to South Florida.

Bre Sampson, Lake Highland (Fla.)
Bre Sampson was a force between the pipes, stopping American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) on 11 of 17 shots on goal. Sampson’s defensive performance was aided by picking up four ground balls and causing two turnovers in Lake Highland’s state championship victory. In the state semifinals against Episcopal Jacksonville (Fla.), the senior goalie made five stops, holding opponents to just four goals. She is committed to Queens.
Also notable: Katie Fisher, Plant (Fla.); Sunnie Wang, Hockaday (Texas)

Mia Darr, University School of Milwaukee (Wisc.)
Before the season began, there was just one player in Wisconsin history to reach 300 goals: Morgan Hollowell (367). Now there are two as Darr scored her 300th this past week, a week in which she tallied 14 goals in wins over Divine Savior Holy Angels (Wisc.) and Franklin (Wisc.). While the Wildcats’ game against New Trier (Ill.) didn’t go as well, Darr proved what she could do against top competition with another hat trick. Darr climbing the state record books shouldn’t be a surprise given she had a single-season record 125 goals last season.
Also notable: Aubrey Bartosik, Olentangy Liberty (Ohio); Ellie Bornhoeft, New Trier (Ill.); Molly Dwyer, Loyola Academy (Ill.); Meg Gallagher, New Trier (Ill.); Abby Grove, Prior Lake (Minn.); Ellie King, Upper Arlington (Ohio); Lexie St. Pierre, Hudson (Ohio); Elle Tomalia, Carmel (Ind.)

Kayla Agarie, Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.)
Junior middie Kayla Agarie helped lead Foothill-Santa Ana to its first CIF Southern Section Division I title game since 2023. Brown-bound Agarie netted a team-high five goals against Mater Dei (Calif.), and added five draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers. In the semifinals matchup against San Clemente (Calif.), Agarie recorded five draw controls, two goals, two assists and one ground ball.
