In the fall, Cayden Reese will go play for her mother, Cathy, at Maryland.
In her last spring playing for her father, Brian, she tore up the IAAM and led Maryvale to the IAAM A conference title with 60 goals, 35 assist and 40 draw controls. Reese is the USA Lacrosse High School Girls' National Player of the Year.
The attacker is slick, shifty and aggressive going to goal — and to nobody's surprise given her family history in the sport, she has an incredibly high lacrosse IQ.
She can be a balanced feeder and passer, and in 2026, she took her dodging to the next level.
Reese is a player to watch as a possible impact freshman in 2027.
