Manhasset (N.Y.) and Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) are new additions to this week's USA Lacrosse Public High School Girls' National Top 25 — just in time for the teams to play each other in a top-10 matchup Saturday.

Both teams are off to 3-0 starts and have looked great in the process. Manhasset owns a 47-9 goal advantage over opponents while CSH holds a 35-19 edge on its foes.

No. 1 Darien (Conn.) will open its season Saturday against Chatham (N.J.). The Blue Wave have been at No. 1 because of the depth returning from last year's 20-2 state title team.

Eastport-South Manor (N.Y.) upset Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.), which already has a terrific win over Garden City (N.Y.). Eastport-South Manor already suffered a loss to Smithtown West (N.Y.), which has a pair of losses, making for a dizzying start to the season on Long Island.

No. 2 Sayville (N.Y.) picked up quality victories over Victor (N.Y.) and Penfield (N.Y.) to fortify its position. Garden City went across state lines for a convincing win over a Glenelg High (Md.) team that fought highly ranked Severna Park (Md.) to the finish.

Broadneck (Md.) also won a key Mid-Atlantic matchup, handing Cape Henlopen (Del.) their first loss of the season. In the Midwest, Upper Arlington (Ohio) handed private school Loyola (Ill.) a loss to move up to No. 2 in the region.

In-state this week, West Forsyth (Ga.) puts its South Region top billing on the line against one-loss Lambert (Ga.). West Forsyth got a bump up when Milton (Ga.), a team it beat earlier this year, topped both Notre Dame Prep (Md.) and IMG Academy (Fla.) last week. In New Jersey, Summit (N.J.) will go head-to-head with Bridgewater-Raritan (N.J.).

By focusing exclusively on public school programs, these USA Lacrosse National Top 25 and Regional Top 10 lists (also found here in our rankings hub) highlight the best teams that have built powerhouse rosters through local development and strong grassroots efforts.

Presented by CWENCH Hydration, these rankings are compiled by USA Lacrosse writers with input from coaches around the country. Rankings and records reflect results as of previous Tuesday.
