NORTHEAST

Katie Walsh, Darien (Conn.)

Next player up? Walsh got the memo.

The Colgate-bound senior stepped up in a big way after Annabel Adams suffered a season-ending injury, scoring four goals in the annual anticipated showdown with rival New Canaan (Conn.).

Walsh followed with two more goals in a 10-4 victory over Summit (N.J.) for the Blue Wave, who have won eight in a row.

“After losing our high scorer and senior captain Annabel Adams for the season, Katie showed leadership and poise in leading the Blue Wave with goals in defeating New Canaan and Summit,” Darien coach Lisa Lindley said.

Also notable: Abbey DeSantis, Hauppauge (N.Y.); Aubrie Eisfeld, Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.); Brooke Koffler, Hackley (N.Y.); Sophia Nesci, Cicero-North Syracuse (N.Y.); Tori Ottomanelli, Garden City (N.Y.); Emily Rodriguez, Nyack (N.Y.)

MID-ATLANTIC

Ella Jane Ostrowski, Archbishop Spalding (Md.)

Ostrowski has had to step up in the absence of several injured Cavaliers. The junior attack has done so week after week, and her latest exploits could not have come at a better time. In the final game of the regular season, Ostrowski scored five goals and had an assist to help Spalding to a 13-3 win over McDonogh (Md.). It was McDonogh’s first loss in the IAAM this season.

The win secured the No. 2 seed for the IAAM playoffs and two home games. Ostrowski then scored twice and assisted on two other goals in a narrow 9-8 IAAM quarterfinals win over seventh-seeded St. Mary’s (Md.) to avenge one of their earlier losses and set up a semifinal showdown against St. Paul’s (Md.). Ostrowski is committed to Army.

Also notable: Keira Abere, Severna Park (Md.); Fiona Duncheskie, Bishop Shanahan (Pa.); Allison Fling, Century (Md.); Sofia Herrera, St. Paul’s (Md.); Cailin Jarvis, Potomac (Va.); Kylee Keenan, St. Paul’s (Md.); Rowan Lawrence, Agnes Irwin (Pa.); Leah Miller, South Carroll (Md.); Marin Mooney, Radnor (Pa.); Quinn Murray, Georgetown Visitation (D.C.); Emma Penczek, Manchester Valley (Md.); Kelsey Young, Agnes Irwin (Pa.)

SOUTH

Teagan Scott, Oceanside Collegiate (S.C.)

Scott has posted impressive numbers all year, and the postseason was no exception. In last week’s state championship game, she scored six goals and added three assists, helping her squad to a title against Bishop English (S.C.). She also had a nine-point effort in the semifinals, but was more of a distributor, dishing out seven assists in an 18-6 win over Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.). After scoring 91 times in 2025, she will be headed to Clemson.

Also notable: McKenzey Craig, Plant (Fla.); Emma Hrzich, American Heritage-Delray (Fla.); Hannah Rosato, Bishop England (S.C.); Morgan Siglin, Wade Hampton (S.C.)

MIDWEST

Abby Grove, Prior Lake (Minn.)

The most eye-catching result in Midwest lacrosse this past week? Arguably the Lakers’ 18-11 win over Lakeville South (Minn.), which snapped the latter’s 23-game win streak that included a perfect season in 2024. Grove was front and center in Prior Lake’s win, not just with her four goals but her 11 draw controls. Not that anyone should be surprised as the Rutgers commit has scored four-plus goals in four of six games for the Lakers and is averaging a healthy 6.83 draw controls.

Also notable: Emily Couri, Loyola Academy (Ill.); Kathleen Devine, Loyola (Ill.); Charlotte Fannin, Lakeville South (Minn.); Kellan Hudson, East Grand Rapids (Mich.); Matty Meier, New Trier (Ill.); Madeline Pohmer, Olentangy Liberty (Ohio); Evie Ruma, Upper Arlington (Ohio)

WEST

Gia Bigelow, Valor Christian (Colo.)

Sophomore attack Gia Bigelow led Valor Christian offensively on a 3-0 road trip. Bigelow had two goals and two caused turnovers at Colorado Academy (Colo.), and she combined for eight goals against Chatfield (Colo.) and Denver East (Colo.) while contributing a total of 14 draw controls, five caused turnovers and five ground balls. Her older sister Leele had the game-high five goals vs. Colorado Academy.

Also notable: Millie Bartlett, St. Ignatius (Calif.); Leele Bigelow, Valor Christian (Colo.); Lynsey Dondero, ThunderRidge (Colo.); Madisyn Jokerst, Regis Jesuit (Colo.); Sam Lundquist, St. Ignatius (Calif.); Lyla Palecek, Cathedral Catholic (Calif.); Riley Rivera, ThunderRidge (Colo.)
