Notre Dame was the only unseeded team to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals thanks to Kasey Choma, who buried the winning tally with just 10.1 seconds left against Florida. Choma put together the best season of her career in 2023, and the expectations are higher than ever before for 2024.
The Division III transfer from Tufts proved that she could do more than just hang with her Division I counterparts. Molly Laliberty showed flashes of pure dominance, saving 25 of 49 shots during an NCAA championship run.
Captain America has a penchant for scoring championship-winning goals. He did it yet again for the Archers in the PLL title game, netting the winner with 1:37 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Notre Dame teammate Jake Taylor was recognized earlier this week for the Best Men’s Highlight of 2023. Taylor’s twister forced overtime in the NCAA semifinals against Virginia. Who scored the winner? That would be Brian Tevlin.
