It sure looks like Jack Ransom has found a home in the Georgetown starting lineup.
A freshman attackman from Charlotte, N.C., Ransom has started the last two games for the Hoyas and produced gaudy numbers. In a 17-9 win over Villanova on Friday, Ransom scored nine goals on 13 shots — and seven of those goals came in the first half.
In his first start the Saturday prior, Ransom scored six goals with one assist against St. John's.
He is the USA Lacrosse Division I Men's Player of the Week.
DIVISION II
Jack Johnstone, Rollins
Eight points, including five goals, led Rollins’ upset win over Lynn. Two of the five goals came in the fourth quarter, including a goal to put Rollins up 10-9.
DIVISION III
Henry Ross, Ohio Wesleyan
Ross had seven points, including five goals on a 56-percent shooting day, to lead Ohio Wesleyan’s upset of Denison. The win keeps Ohio Wesleyan undefeated in NCAC play.
The Washington product now has 62 points on the year.
