On Tuesday, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced the five women's finalists for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award — Alyssa Chung (Navy), Brigid Duffy (Army), Chloe Humphrey (North Carolina), Reagan O'Brien (Johns Hopkins) and Madison Taylor (Northwestern).

The award will be presented live on May 28 in Washington, D.C.

Alyssa Chung, Navy: The sophomore attacker is a big reason why Navy has enjoyed as much success as it has in 2026. She enters the NCAA tournament with 72 goals and 30 assists on her ledger.

Brigid Duffy, Army: The best do-everything midfielder in the country, Duffy has elevated the Army program to new heights in her four years at West Point. She has 70 goals, 28 assists, 51 ground balls, 46 caused turnovers and 72 draw controls to her name.

Chloe Humphrey, North Carolina: The reigning Tewaaraton Award winner has already scored more goals than she did a year ago — and has a shot at breaking the single-season goals record set by Madison Taylor. Humphrey has 92 goals and 41 assists.

Reagan O'Brien, Johns Hopkins: One of the best defensive players in college lacrosse history, O'Brien set the single-season caused turnover mark last year and the all-time caused turnover mark this year. She's caused 75 turnovers this spring and 241 in her career.

Madison Taylor, Northwestern: Taylor set the single-season goals record last year (109) and is yet again a Tewaaraton Award finalist after notching 80 goals and 31 assists thus far this spring. She'd led Northwestern to the No. 1 national seed in the NCAA tournament.
