Facing a scrappy Ivy League contender and then a top-five opponent, Rachel Clark was the go-to offensive threat for Boston College.
She had four goals and two assists in a 18-7 win over Brown, then she deposited five goals with one assist in a statement 17-9 win over Stanford — a sign that the field of contenders has a way to go before catching up to the No. 1 Eagles.
That marks 10 straight games in which Clark has recorded multiple goals and at least one assist, and she has been a dominant force with 56 goals and 16 assists in a 12-0 start for BC.
Olivia Bladon, UIndy
The junior midfielder registered 11 goals in a pair of victories for No. 12 UIndy, including career highs of six goals and seven points in a top-10 win over Grand Valley State. Bladon also added 11 draw controls, six ground balls and two caused turnovers and leads the Greyhounds with 34 goals through 10 games.
Hope Shue, Middlebury
The reigning IWLCA National Player of the Year continued to shine brightest against the toughest competition; in three games, she collected 17 goals, four assists and 14 draw controls.
She was dominant in the team’s victory over TCNJ, scoring eight goals — a career high — and winning six draw controls.
