113 High School Seniors Set to Play in Adrenaline All-American Games

July 25, 2025
Mike Waters

FRISCO, Texas — The Adrenaline All-American Games showcasing some of the best high school lacrosse players in the country — especially those west of the Mississippi — will take place this weekend at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Broadcast on ESPN+, the girls' contest is scheduled for Sunday at 6 p.m. Eastern, with the boys' game to follow at 8:40 p.m. Eastern. The Star is the practice facility for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.

The event started in 2011 as a high school boys' lacrosse showcase. A girls' game was added in 2019, celebrating and recognizing under-appreciated players from the West Coast. The Adrenaline games now feature an array of talent from all around the West region.

Using a North vs. South format — rosters are divided geographically with a few exceptions — 62 boys and 51 girls representing 12 different states will compete in this year's edition.  Players are selected based on coaches' recommendations and the Adrenaline Evaluation Team.

Rosters are listed below. Continue reading for more on the showcase, including the new Adrenaline All-American Futures event for Class of 2029 standouts.

Adrenaline owner and vice president Jono Zissi is proud of how the extravaganza has grown over the years.

"The event continues to evolve," said Zissi, who for the past 15 years has also been the head coach at San Diego powerhouse Torrey Pines (Calif.), which won its seventh straight CIF San Diego boys' lacrosse open division title in May. "Better production coverage, more media outlets, more content and marketing people, and now we have the added Futures event running alongside the Senior game."

The All-American Futures event is also slated to be televised by ESPN+, begins at 1:30 pm Eastern for the girls' contest and 3:30 p.m. Eastern for the boys' game. It will serve as an exclusive showcase of the next generation of lacrosse talent, spotlighting rising stars from non-traditional areas and providing them with a stage to demonstrate their skill, athleticism and potential.

Top-tier Class of 2029 players from western states will compete in the Futures event. Rising high school freshmen, the players are carefully selected by the Adrenaline Evaluation Team, ensuring that the best young athletes in the sport have the chance to compete at the highest level.

The "best 2029s west of the Mississippi" is Zissi's description of the Futures event. "A full day of training with some of the best NCAA college coaches at the Lacrosse Barn," he said.

The Lacrosse Barn is a world-class training center built by and for lacrosse players, located in Addison, Texas (less than 10 miles south of The Star).

Zissi, who will also be an analyst in this year's ESPN+ broadcast of the games, has been with Adrenaline since 2003. "Having the games on ESPN+ is huge for visibility and allows all of the college and high school coaches of the players to tune in," he said.  "It really continues to be the marquee event out west and it's so great having all the best players from the non-traditional states on display."

Entering the 15th year of the senior event, Zissi pointed out that more than 50 alums of the Adrenaline All-American Games game have gone on to become NCAA All-Americans, with 17 former participants currently on Premier Lacrosse League rosters.

The weekend begins with most players and their families arriving Friday at the Omni Frisco Hotel, which is connected to The Star. Saturday morning officially signals the start of the festivities as players gather for media day, which includes head shots and a Q&A session. They will enjoy some afternoon free time, followed by an evening banquet, when Adrenaline CEO Alex Cade welcomes the attendees with an introductory address.

Adrenaline also inducts one former player from a non-traditional area into its Western Lacrosse Hall of Fame, alternating annually between gender.

This year's addition is Megan Carney. A native of McKinney, Texas, who attended Plano John Paul II High School, Carney had a stellar playing career at Syracuse (2019-22), earning All-American honors four times and serving as team captain her final two seasons. She ranks in the top 10 in program history with 192 career goals scored and 271 career points. She also won a gold medal with the 2019 U.S. Women's U19 National Team. Carney joined Florida State as an assistant coach in January 2025.

Mike Mabry is this year's keynote speaker, which follows the Hall of Fame induction. Along with John Rothenberger, Mabry co-founded One Play Development, an academy that strives to address the large and growing challenges in American youth sports.

Team introductions precede the Jeremy Huber Scholarship award announcements (boys and girls) with closing remarks rounding out Saturday's festivities.

Huber, who was a freshman defenseman at Johns Hopkins when he died from complications of the flu and pneumonia in 2015, was an Adrenaline All-American. The award is recognition of his commitment to service and his ability to overcome adversity and maintain tremendous character.

A Sunday morning session features the girls' check-in and locker room visit, then a brief practice session and walk through. Boys participants then follow the same procedure.

The afternoon slate offers two Futures competitions before the seniors take center stage in the evening to cap a memorable, fun-filled weekend for all.

Last year, Luke Macaluso (Culver, Ind./North Carolina) registered a hat trick to earn MVP honors in the boys' game, leading the South squad to a thrilling 10-9 victory. Olivia Kozitza (Ida B. Wells, Ore./Oregon) recorded a hat trick and four ground balls in leading the North squad to a 20-12 victory as the MVP on the girls' side.

The games also feature a halftime fastest shot competition. Last year, Luke Stickler (Loyola, Calif./Johns Hopkins) rifled a new Adrenaline All-American Game record 117-mph shot in the finals, after a 114-mph shot during preliminary attempts pregame. The top two times in preliminaries face off with one shot apiece at halftime.

Colorado native Ally Gibb will be the head coach of this year's North squad. Gibb was a standout at Valor Christian (Colo.) and is currently a varsity coach at Cherry Creek (Colo.).

Reese Robinson and Shae Hagans will coach the South girls' team.  Robinson is a rising junior attacker at USC.  She is a McKinney, Texas native and McKinney North High School standout, where she is the program's all-time leading scorer and set the single-season goals record with 111.  She played in the 2023 Adrenaline All-American game.

Hagans, a rising sophomore attacker at Jacksonville, had an outstanding high school career at Prosper (Texas), where she amassed 497 goals and 139 assists.  She earned four Texas all-state selections and was an Adrenaline All-American.

The North boys' head coach will be Anthony DeMaio, a former Maryland standout and the head coach at The Woodlands (Texas).  The South squad will be guided by Max Silblerlicht, who is currently the head coach of the Israel men's national team.  He is a Hobart alum and former standout Division I goalie.

It all comes together in an unforgettable weekend showcase that keeps getting better each year.

The Adrenaline All-American Games are more than just a competition. The event is a celebration of the sport and a memory-making experience for high school lacrosse standouts looking ahead with excitement and anticipation as they embark on the next chapter in their careers.
