NORTHEAST
Tucker Spiess, Brunswick (Conn.)
Brunswick scored the first six goals of the game, yet its lead dwindled to just three at halftime. And in the pivotal third quarter, Tucker Spiess made sure to wrestle momentum back for the Bruins.
The Princeton commit led a defense that pitched a shutout in the third quarter en route to a 14-6 victory over Ridgefield (Conn.). The senior captain had four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the victory.
“Tucker has been our top cover guy,” Bruins head coach David Bruce said. “He leads the poles in ground balls; he is one of our captains and patiently helps a young group get better every day.”

Jake Bickel, Malvern Prep (Pa.)
The senior attackman scored his fourth goal with 1:29 left in overtime to give the Friars a 10-9 win over Haverford School (Pa.) in what’s been a tremendous rivalry. Bickel had a goal and an assist while playing just a quarter in a lopsided win over Penn Charter (Pa.) and was coming off a two-goal, one-assist performance in Malvern’s win over Brunswick.
Bickel has been a dynamic scorer all year. He’ll suit up for Georgetown next year.
