NORTHEAST

Luke Cascadden, Garden City (N.Y.)

It was a good weekend to be a Cascadden, especially at the faceoff X.

Luke Cascadden was dominant for Garden City, winning 14 of 16 faceoffs to help lead the Trojans to a 10-5 win over Manhasset (N.Y.) in the 142nd Woodstick Classic Saturday afternoon.

The senior Navy commit, who is winning 80 percent of faceoffs this season, also scored a goal, as did his Cornell-bound brother, Blake, a starting LSM, as Garden City has taken two of the last three meetings with Manhasset.

“Luke had a great game at the X,” Garden City coach Steve Finnell said. “He helped us dominate time of possession and also scored a goal.”

A day later, big brother Jack won 21 of 33 faceoffs to help lead Cornell to a 20-15 win over Princeton and the program’s third Ivy League title.”

Also notable: Will Crawford, St. John’s Prep (Mass.); James Gillis, Chaminade (N.Y.); Miguel Iglesias, Somers (N.Y.); Cam Kelly, Salisbury School (Conn.); Cullen Lynch, South Side (N.Y.); Lindan Verville, Belmont Hill (Mass.)

MID-ATLANTIC

Cooper Pasko, Loyola Blakefield (Md.)

Pasko has come up with some big goals this season for the Dons. The senior attack did so again last week, beginning with the overtime winner in a 10-9 victory over McDonogh (Md.) to top off Senior Day.

Pasko then helped Loyola avoid any letdown in an 11-7 win over Severn (Md.) to end the week and hold fifth place in the MIAA with one game left. Pasko finished with a hat trick. His first goal tied the game, 6-6, in the second half as the Dons had to rally from a slow start that had them trailing at halftime. Pasko is committed to Hamilton.

Also notable: Grant Alexander, Westtown (Pa.); Aharon Bloshuk, Academy of New Church (Pa.); Teddy Curry, Radnor (Pa.); Colin Decker, Haverford School (Pa.); Griff Meyer, Haverford School (Pa.); Jacob Neuman, Archbishop Spalding (Md.); Colby Rossettie, Lawrenceville (N.J.); Shay Woodmansee, Academy of New Church (Pa.)

SOUTH

Bear Hankins, Lucy Beckham (S.C.)

Lucy Beckham remained at the top of lacrosse in South Carolina in 2025, and it has Bear Hankins’ offensive prowess to thank. The senior scored three times and added two assists in a win over Nation Ford to earn the state title. He also had six goals and an assist in a semifinal win over Chapin (S.C.). He has 64 goals and 23 assists this season.

Also notable: Shovan Eriksson, St. Andrew’s (Fla.); Sean Gaca, Franklin (Tenn.); Diego Salazar, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.); Jayden Vega, Benjamin (Fla.)

MIDWEST

Wally Swiney, Upper Arlington (Ohio)

A top receiver in the Ohio Capital Conference during the fall, the Golden Bears love having Wally Swiney on the lacrosse field. After all, the UAlbany commit keeps delivering huge performances in big games. It wasn’t just his six goals and three assists this week in a showdown with Brother Rice, always one of Michigan’s top teams. Swiney also delivered six goals in a late March win over St. Xavier (Ohio), currently ranked number one in the Midwest. Quite a player, indeed.

Also notable: Max Aho, Blue Valley (Kan.); Bodhi Harmon, Culver Academy (Ind.); Connor Lukas, Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.); Matthew Nickell, Blue Valley (Kan.); Dillon O’Rourke, Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.); Davis Pyser, Dublin Jerome (Ohio); Nick Rongo, St. Xavier (Ohio); Luke Sprong, St. Xavier (Ohio); Jake Struck, Olentangy Liberty (Ohio); Draden Torline, Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.)

From the faceoff circle, senior middie Alec Louder helped Arapahoe to a No. 2 seed in the state championship tournament. Louder recorded 12 faceoff wins against Denver East (Colo.) and nine at Mountain Vista (Colo.). He combined for eight ground balls.

Also notable: Owen Corsi, Cherry Creek (Colo.); JT Cross, Valor Christian (Colo.); Kellen Dunn, De La Salle (Calif.); Henry Goldberg, Cherry Creek (Colo.); Harry Luong, Valor Christian (Colo.); Davis Renz, Timberline (Idaho); Alex Trette, De La Salle (Calif.)
