Cuomo was even better the next game going 13-for-17 at the X (76 percent) to help Calvert Hall edge Lawrenceville (N.J.) 7-6. MIDWEST
Parker Sorenson, Culver Academy (Ind.)
Any time you take on one of the top teams in the country, it's a chance to show what you can do. Sorenson certainly did that against St. Anthony's (N.Y.), currently ranked second in the nation. The Culver senior was a force on defense with six ground balls and four caused turnovers and even was an offensive spark with a goal and an assist. Not that any of that is a surprise as the Johns Hopkins commit is the "leader of our defense," per Eagles coach Jon Birsner.
Also notable: Gentry Curtis, Western Reserve (Ohio); David Gould, Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.); Jackson Shugart, Northland (Mo.); JP Stegall, Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.)
— Jonah Rosenblum

Goldman won 11 of 12 faceoffs, snared six ground balls and had an assist against St. Francis (Calif.), then went 18 -for-27 with 10 ground balls and a goal against the Wildcats to earn him game MVP honors.
