NORTHEAST
Hayden Goozh, Loomis Chaffee (Conn.)
It’s not easy to win at Brunswick School (Conn.). To do so, it certainly helps to have a dominant faceoff specialist.
Enter Hayden Goozh, who was at the epicenter of Loomis Chaffee’s 15-10 victory over the Bruins. The UPenn commit won 17 of 26 faceoffs, collected 10 ground balls and scored a pair of goals in a battle of national powerhouses.
“Hayden was really versatile at the faceoff dot for us on Saturday. He was able to push the ball forward, win it back, use his wings and carry against athletic LSMs when he was pressured,” Loomis Chaffee coach Bill Ball said.

MID-ATLANTIC
Sam Long, Severn (Md.)
Long has helped to fuel a fast start for Severn. The senior attack had 5 goals and an assist in two wins last week. He helped the Admirals edge rival Gilman (Md.) 11-10 to improve to 2-0 in the MIAA A Conference, their first 2-0 start since 2022. Long also scored four goals in an 11-8 win over nine-time defending Maryland state champion Severna Park. With his second goal in the neighborhood showdown, he hit the 100 career point milestone. The 6-1 start for Severn was their best since opening the 2021 season 5-1. Long is committed to Navy.

SOUTH
Kaden Parla, Roswell (Ga.)
Last week marked another dominating performance for the 5-11 senior attack headed to Jacksonville. In a 17-2 win over Milton (Ga.), Parla posted six goals and an assist. Combined with Jackson Hardwick, Parla had led a prolific attack for Roswell this season.
Also notable: David Druhot, Jupiter (Fla.); Jack Stula, St. Andrew’s (Fla.); Brayden Tompkins, Lambert (Ga.)

MIDWEST
Ike Stitle, Carmel (Ind.)
Stitle continues to be at the center of everything for the undefeated Greyhounds, including providing six goals and two assists in an 18-5 win over Wheaton Academy (Ill.) and five more goals in a 17-4 victory over Guerin Catholic (Ind.). That’s become almost customary for Carmel as Stitle has already amassed 39 goals and 13 assists through eight games, including seven straight games with at least four goals.
Also notable: Will Bates, Carmel (Ind.); Colman McNamara, Western Reserve (Ohio); Callum Olson, Western Reserve (Ohio); Declan Ryan, Worthington Kilbourne (Ohio.)

WEST
Declan Dillon, Regis Jesuit (Colo.)
Regis Jesuit defenseman Declan Dillon made his presence felt in a big way this past week, anchoring the Raiders’ defense against a tough Colorado Academy (Colo.) offense.
Dillon finished with two caused turnovers and three ground balls, but his impact went far beyond the stat sheet. The uncommitted junior was a physical force all game long, using his size, strength, and defensive instincts to disrupt rhythm and limit opportunities for a veteran CA attack. Dillon showcased his athleticism and lockdown defense during this past week's matchups, shutting off his opponent, playing physical, and setting the tone defensively for Regis.
With heavyweights like Mountain Vista (Colo.), Legend (Colo.), Valor (Colo.), and Cherry Creek (Colo.) still ahead, the Raiders have a challenging stretch coming up, but Dillon’s presence on the back end will be a key factor as they navigate the road ahead.
Also notable: Carter Fitzgerald, Brophy (Ariz.); Eli Friedman, Brophy (Ariz.); Torin LaSelle, Valor (Colo.)
