New Trier Now Midwest No. 1; N.Y. & N.J. Playoffs Affect Regional Rankings

Major showdowns affected the latest USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Top 10 Rankings with the Northeast and Midwest getting some key changes. 

The Northeast rankings reshuffled after Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.) picked up a huge win over Nyack (N.Y.), something no team had been able to do yet this year. 

In the Midwest, it was New Trier (Ill.) that avenged an earlier loss with a huge win over Loyola (Ill.) to jump to No. 1. 

The Mid-Atlantic didn’t have changes, with only one ranked New Jersey team in action. The South and West are not updated this week after most of their teams have concluded their seasons.
