SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named 24 of the nation’s top young boys’ lacrosse players to the 2025 U15 Youth National Team. The players were selected following evaluations at five regional ID clinics and virtual applications during the spring and early summer as part of the National Team Development Program.

The U.S. Youth National Teams will compete during the Rivalry Challenge against their counterparts from Lacrosse Canada the weekend of September 18-21 at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.

The National Team Development Program expanded this year to six total teams – boys’ and girls teams at the U15, U17 and U19 age groupings. More than 2,000 players around the country have participated in the process. Launched in 2019, the National Team Development Program provides high-level training for the nation’s top young players and acclimates them to the national team system.

Jon Posner, the head coach at The Lawrenceville School (N.J.) who has had five separate high school teams finish the year ranked No. 1 in the country, serves as the head coach for the U.S. Boys’ U15 Youth National Team. He is assisted by Nic Bell (St. Anne’s Belfield – Va.), National Lacrosse Hall of Famer and USA gold medalist David Morrow and Wesley Speaks (St. John’s College High School — D.C.).

The National Team Development Program is sponsored by Capelli Sport, Gait Lacrosse, STX, MedStar Health, Athletic Republic, First Scout Productions, HotelPlanner and NCSA.
