USA Lacrosse Names 2026 U.S. Girls’ U17 Youth National Team

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named 24 players to the 2026 U.S. Girls’ U17 Youth National Team following a summer evaluation process that included regional ID clinics and a national combine in July.
The roster brings together players from the high school classes of 2027 through 2030 and 11 states. Kylie Ohlmiller (Women’s Lacrosse League) and Brandy Padilla (San Diego State) will serve as co-head coaches, with Jana Drummond (UMass) and Nicole Beardsley Montag (Northwestern) as assistants. The team’s international schedule includes the Brogden Cup, Sept. 25-27 in Sparks, and the Rivalry Challenge, Oct. 9-11 in Oshawa, Ontario.
Seven players have previous Youth National Team experience. West Forsyth (Ga.) midfielder Luca Diehl, Coronado (Calif.) midfielder Breck Dunn, Christian Brothers (N.Y.) midfielder Ryann Murphy and La Costa Canyon (Calif.) goalie Cambria Williams return after representing the U17 team in 2025. Maryvale (Md.) defender Reese DiManno, South Side (N.Y.) midfielder Juliet Diorio and Governors (Mass.) midfielder Quinn Powers move up after playing for the U15 team a year ago.
The first test comes at the Brogden Cup, where the U.S. will face Lacrosse Canada and the Haudenosaunee Nationals in both field and sixes competition at USA Lacrosse headquarters. The event marks the first chance for this group of National Team Development Program players to compete together in the red, white and blue.
