The Tewaaraton Foundation revealed the five men's finalists for the 2025 Tewaaraton Award on Thursday, with headliner CJ Kirst (Cornell) joined by four other attackmen.

The winner will be announced at a live event on May 29 in Washington, D.C.

Kirst, the top player for the top team in the country, set the Division I men's all-time goals record this spring, a season in which he has produced 68 goals and 30 assists. He was drafted No. 1 overall in the Premier Lacrosse League College Draft by the Philadelphia Waterdogs on Tuesday.

Army senior Jackson Eicher set the single-season goals record for the Black Knights this season and finished his career at West Point with 95 goals and 52 assists. He started all 28 games combined between his junior and season seasons.

Two-time NCAA champion Chris Kavanagh was the catalyst for the Notre Dame offense this season, and how he hopes to win the Tewaaraton Award a year after his brother, Pat, won it. Leading into the NCAA tournament, Kavanagh has 33 goals and 23 assists. Kavanagh was selected by the California Redwoods in the PLL Draft at No. 10.

In leading Harvard back to the NCAA tournament, Sam King reaffirmed his standing as one of the most dynamic attackmen in the country. His balanced stat sheet of 34 goals and 29 assists stands out, but King was active on the ride with 15 caused turnovers, too. He was taken at No. 18 in the PLL Draft by the Utah Archers.

Coulter Mackesy is the last of the finalists after producing another top-flight season at Princeton. With 40 goals and 15 assists, Mackesy ranks right there with Kirst and King as a top attackman in the Ivy League. He was taken fourth in the PLL Draft by the Boston Cannons.
