An undefeated team has climbed to the No. 3 spot in the USA Lacrosse Division I Men's Top 20, presented by CWENCH Hydration, as Princeton's loss to Cornell opened the door for another Ivy League team, Harvard, to move up.

Cornell's win over Princeton was perhaps the most notable upset of the weekend, though Princeton still finds itself ahead of the Big Red in the Top 20 due to the rest of its resume. To its credit, Cornell is just one spot behind at No. 8.

Penn State didn't move from its No. 10 standing despite beating Maryland, but the Nittany Lions continue to boast one of the most interesting resumes in the country. After all, they did beat both Princeton and Cornell already this spring.

There is some modest shuffling toward the bottom of the table, as Nos. 16-20 seem to fluctuate each week with an assortment of 8-10 teams that have reasonable cause to find a home there.

USA LACROSSE DIVISION III
MEN’S TOP 20

This week’s Top 20- features major changes. Not all trap games happen in the middle of the week — they come on Saturdays, too.

NCAA runner-up Dickinson dropping an overtime result to unranked Washington College, 10-9. It may seem a bit dramatic to drop the Devils to the basement of the Top 20, but it was not a one-and-done result — other games impacted that fall.

Bowdoin’s 17-12 win over Wesleyan had a wild fourth quarter in which the Polar Bears were made to answer a Cardinal comeback with five goals in the final stanza. Even then, they’re still just the second-best team in the conference behind Tufts, which extended its winning streak to 35 games with a pair of decisive wins — first a 17-11 victory over Trinity on Saturday followed by an 18-7 Sunday slashing of Stevens.
