Ohio Northern, making its first NCAA tournament appearance in program history, will play on.

The Polar Bears, helmed by former California Redwoods head coach Nat St. Laurent, dispatched Aurora 14-7 on Wednesday in the first round of the Division III tournament. They play RIT on Saturday in the second round.

Colin Willits led the charge with four goals and one assist, but Ohio Northern was otherwise balanced — Ian Roy scored twice, and either others scored once. Peyton Lich made 14 saves.

It was the most notable result in an otherwise quiet first day of tournament action. Continue below to see scores from all eight games and matchups for the second round, scheduled for Saturday.
