According to a report from Irish Sports Daily, star Notre Dame midfielder Jordan Faison will focus on football this spring and not play lacrosse. He was expected to play alongside his brother, Dylan, a heralded recruit who plans to enroll early at Notre Dame and will also play both sports.
Jordan Faison was Notre Dame's leading wide receiver in football this season, setting career-highs for catches (49) and receiving yards (640) while tying his career-high with four touchdown receptions. He was a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, given annually to the top college football player who began his career as a walk-on.
On the lacrosse field, Jordan Faison helped Notre Dame win the national championship as a freshman in 2024, starting 17 games and scoring 30 points (22g, 8a). Last year, he got a late start on the lacrosse field following Notre Dame's run to the national championship game in football. He played in 12 games and finished the year with 14 points (9g, 5a).
