Tewaaraton Finalist Owen Duffy Out For Saturday’s NCAA First Round

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina men’s lacrosse attackman Owen Duffy will miss Saturday’s NCAA tournament first-round game against UAlbany.
Duffy, a junior for the Tar Heels and a 2026 Tewaaraton Award finalist, will miss the game with a lower-body injury. His status moving forward in the postseason is day-to-day.
A three-time All-ACC attackman, Duffy leads Carolina in assists (39) and points (69), while ranking second in goals (30).
