Garden City, Manhasset Earn USA Lacrose High School Girls' Regional Rankings
Garden City (N.Y.) and Manhasset (N.Y.) are the only new teams to make their way into the Northeast rankings, and they're the only teams to debut across all regions in this week's USA Lacrosse Regional Top 10 rankings, presented by CWENCH Hydration.
After a wild week of upsets, the rankings held very close to form with most of the losses incurred from playing a higher ranked team or quality out-of-region opponent. The result was very little movement in any region.
In the prime matchup of the Mid-Atlantic Top 10, Maryvale (Md.) prevailed over McDonogh (Md.) in a game that also held national importance. The in-region matchups last week followed suit with higher ranked teams defeating lower ranked teams so that the top 10 stayed intact. Penn Charter (Pa.) picked up a key out-of-region win over Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.).
One of the exceptions was in the West Region, where Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) earned top billing with a win over former No. 1 Valor Christian (Colo.). Upper Arlington (Ohio) leapfrogged Loyola (Ill.) in a Midwest matchup of two of the region's best. Milton (Ga.) enjoyed a challenging 3-0 week in the South Region.
The Northeast Region has the feature meeting this week when No. 1 St. Anthony's (N.Y.) faces No. 2 Darien (Conn.).
Below you'll find this week's USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Top 10 updates for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West regions, complete with recaps of the teams' recent and upcoming games.
Compiled by USA Lacrosse writers with input from coaches around the country, rankings and records reflect results as of previous Sunday.

Pinkin scored five goals in the win and Reagan O’Donovan lifted the defense with six saves. Previous: 3

South Top 10
Milton (Ga.) had a big week in the South. In addition to knocking off Cambridge (Ga.) and IMG Academy (Fla.), they also enjoyed a win over the Mid-Atlantic's Notre Dame (Md.).
IMG also defeated Notre Dame in a strong representation for the region. Otherwise, it was more of the same with American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) winning handily over Ponte Vedra (Fla.) and West Forsyth (Ga.) proving itself in-region against Episcopal Jacksonville (Fla.). Lake Highland (Fla.) lost just its second game of the season, but it came out of region.
Our South rankings cover the region from North Carolina south to Florida and west to Texas.
1. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 13-1
The Stallions’ dominance over the state of Florida continued, easily defeating Benjamin (Fla.) 20-4. American Heritage-Delray then added a 15-2 win over Ponte Vedra (Fla.). AH-Delray has one final regular season game against Rye (N.Y.) this week. Previous: 1
2. Lake Highland (Fla.), 14-2

3. West Forsyth (Ga.), 10-0
The Wolverines’ incredible start continued with a pair of blowout wins south of the Florida/Georgia line. West Forsyth picked up a 20-1 win over Bartram Trail (Fla.), powered by a Luca Diehl seven-goal performance. Avery Jones had eight assists. Diehl had six goals and Jones had seven assists in a 22-9 win over Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Previous: 3
4. Milton (Ga.), 9-1
The Eagles defeated two teams in the South Top 10, and a solid Mid-Atlantic squad in arguably the most challenging week of the season. Milton started last week with a 12-8 win over Cambridge (Ga.), which was followed by a 14-9 win over Notre Dame (Md.). The week ended with a 12-6 victory over IMG (Fla.). Previous: 4
5. Hockaday (Texas), 8-1
The Daisies had 11 days to sit on their first loss of the year. Hockaday returned to action with a 13-9 win over Southlake Carroll (Texas). The win was followed by a 19-9 victory over St. John’s (Texas). Previous: 5
6. Episcopal Jacksonville (Fla.), 10-1
The Eagles ran into the buzzsaw that West Forsyth (Ga.) has become this year, falling 22-9. It was by far a season-high on number of goals allowed in a game by ESJ. Previous: 6
7. Ponte Vedra (Fla.), 8-3
After a 12-day hiatus, the Sharks visited Creekside (Fla.) and won 20-1. The week closed with a 15-2 loss against American Heritage-Delray (Fla.). Previous: 6
8. Cambridge (Ga.), 9-4
In a battle between two of Georgia’s state champions from 2025, the Bears lost to Milton (Ga.) 12-8, despite entering the fourth quarter leading 8-7. Cambridge responded to the loss with a 16-6 win over Pope (Ga.). Previous: 8
9. Anderson (Texas), 7-0

Midwest Top 10
Upper Arlington (Ohio) extended its win streak after an opening-game loss by upending Loyola (Ill.) to jump to No. 2. They'll defend that spot in another key in-region showdown against St. Francis DeSales (Ohio) this week.
Detroit Country Day (Mich.) squeaked out a narrow in-state win to affirm their ranking. Zionsville (Ind.) did the same by defeating Carmel (Ind.). This week will feature more challenging clashes with Hinsdale Central (Ill.) set to take on Upper Arlington in a great matchup.
Our Midwest rankings cover Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
1. New Trier (Ill.), 1-0
After a March 18 win against Downers Grove North (Ill.), the Trevians have plenty of time to watch film before their second game (April 7 against Glenbrook South). Once the games resume, New Trier will be plenty busy, including a mid-April trip to California that includes three games in two days against Coronado, La Costa Canyon and Torrey Pines. Previous: 1
2. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 3-1
The Golden Bears have won three straight since their opening loss to Milton, one of Georgia’s top teams. Upper Arlington overcame a tough start to top nearby Worthington Kilbourne (Ohio), then surged to a 5-0 lead against Illinois power Loyola Academy. The Ramblers rallied to tie it at eight, but Berkeley Thomas responded with the game-winning goal while Claire Iams led the Golden Bears with five goals. Previous: 4
3. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 6-1
The Ramblers rebounded from a close loss to Buckeye State power Upper Arlington to dominate their Sunday clash with Thomas Worthington (Ohio). Juniors Kathleen Devine and Jillian Rocchio both had hat tricks by halftime as part of Loyola Academy’s impressive performance. Previous: 2
4. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 3-0
The Patriots firmly controlled their lone game of the week, topping Olentangy (Ohio) 18-5. Seniors Megan Benton (seven goals, seven draw controls), Aubrey Bartosik (four goals, seven assists) and Evie Howenstine (three goals allowed) all delivered huge performances, alongside junior Eloise Pohmer (five goals, one assist). Previous: 3
5. St. Francis DeSales (Ohio), 4-0
The Stallions enter their March 31 showdown with Upper Arlington (Ohio) with plenty of momentum. DeSales has won all four of its games this season by at least seven goals, topping in-state foes Bishop Hartley by 20 and Turpin by 12 this week. Previous: 5
6. Hinsdale Central (Ill.), 4-0
The Red Devils’ defense won the week, holding in-state foes Glenbard West and St. Charles to a combined three goals. Amazingly, freshman Katherine Clark has scored multiple goals in her first four high school games, including three straight hat tricks. A tough Ohio trip awaits as Hinsdale Central will play three games in two days against New Albany, Thomas Worthington and Upper Arlington. Previous: 6
7. Guerin Catholic (Ind.), 2-1
After a loaded early schedule that included in-state rival Carmel and Ohio Division II state champion St. Francis DeSales, the Stallions are in the midst of a nearly three-week break. They’ll return to action April 7 against Roncalli (Ind.). Previous: 7
8. Prior Lake (Minn.), 0-0
Coming off an undefeated season, the Lakers don’t begin play until mid-April. Prior Lake will start with an absolute barnburner, hosting Stillwater in a rematch of last year’s state title game. Previous: 8

Are the Eagles a legit state contender? Yes, absolutely, as proven by this week’s 13-7 victory over Hoosier State powerhouse Carmel. Seniors Addie Faber (three goals, three assists) and Sydney Rose (three goals, five assists) both delivered monstrous performances in the win while junior Ava Ventrone also recorded a hat trick. Previous: 10

West Top 10
A California clash went to Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.). Their one-goal win over Valor Christian (Colo.) kept them unbeaten and gave them the top spot in the West Region.
Both La Costa Canyon (Calif.) and Coronado (Calif.) suffered out-of-region losses, but both were competitive to keep their spots. St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) topped San Ramon Valley (Calif.) in a Top-10 battle. Marlborough (Calif.) has continued its winning ways to slide up a couple spots.
Our West rankings cover the Mountain, Pacific and Northwest regions and at least part of the Southwest.
1. Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.), 7-0
Sacred Heart Prep takes over the top spot after going on the road and grinding out a one-goal win over Valor Christian (Colo.). They controlled stretches of that game and handled the moment well late, even in less-than-ideal conditions. Kat Dykes led the offense with four goals, while Cate Hansen and Katie Pepper were everywhere defensively. This is the best win in the region so far, and it shows this group can handle a high-pressure environment even on the road. Previous: 2
2. Valor Christian (Colo.), 3-2
Valor drops a spot but nothing about that loss changes how dangerous this team is. They went toe-to-toe with the top team in the West and battled back toward the end of the game. The Eagles still have one of the strongest overall resumes, and you get the sense they will be right back in this position if they were to see Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) again. Previous: 1
3. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 6-1
La Costa Canyon just keeps stacking up the results. After last week’s run through Foothill (Calif.), Mira Costa (Calif.) and Redwood (Calif.), they followed it up with another solid win. They were then tested by Agnes Irwin (Pa.) where they lost 12-10. They will face some strong competition next week as they face Santa Margarita (Calif.) and Marin Catholic (Calif.). Previous: 3
4. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 7-1
St. Ignatius continues to stack wins, with their only loss still coming to Valor Christian (Colo.). They have handled the rest of their schedule cleanly, and the consistency is starting to show. Sadie Ghali has been a major presence in the midfield, impacting all phases of the game, while Sophie Ghosh (Penn) continues to lead the offense and recently surpassed 200 career points. The upcoming stretch, starting with Foothill (Calif.), should give a clearer picture of where this group stands. Previous: 6
5. Coronado (Calif.), 6-3
Coronado has taken a few hits in the loss column, but the level of competition matters here. A one-goal game against Agnes Irwin (Pa.) shows they can hang with strong out-of-region teams. The issue is they are still looking for that defining win to offset the losses to Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) and Foothill (Calif.). Previous: 5
6. Mira Costa (Calif.), 10-2
Mira Costa drops after a second loss, this time to Santa Margarita (Calif.), and that makes things harder to ignore. They still have quality wins on the resume, including La Costa Canyon (Calif.) and Marlborough (Calif.), so this is not a collapse. It just creates a little separation between them and the teams above for now. Previous: 4
7. Marlborough (Calif.), 13-1
Marlborough keeps winning and at some point that has to be rewarded. The record speaks for itself, but the question everyone keeps coming back to is who they have beaten. That April matchup with Coronado (Calif.) is looming and should finally give a clear answer. Previous: 9
8. Marin Academy (Calif.), 5-1
Their overtime loss to St. Ignatius (Calif.) hurts, but it also says something about where this team is. Marin Academy has shown it can compete with anyone in this range and already owns a good win over Redwood (Calif.). The next couple games will determine whether they stay here or start pushing higher. Previous: 7
9. Redwood (Calif.), 7-3
Redwood feels like a team that is right there but not quite breaking through. All three losses are tight and against quality opponents, which keeps them in the conversation. At the same time, they are still chasing that win that moves them up. Previous: 8
10. San Ramon Valley (Calif.), 7-1
San Ramon Valley took its first loss against St. Ignatius (Calif.), and now the focus shifts to what comes next. They have handled most of their schedule well, but the second half of the season is where they will have a chance to prove they belong in this group. Previous: 10
