Upper Arlington New Midwest No. 1 in USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Rankings
Upper Arlington (Ohio) handed New Trier (Ill.) a decisive defeat to take over the top spot in the Midwest and headline this week's USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Top 10 rankings, presented by CWENCH Hydration.
The Golden Bears haven't lost since their season opener and now boast wins against four of the next five ranked teams in the region.
Northport (N.Y.) was a newcomer last week in the Northeast, and the Tigers continue to rise while adding to their unbeaten start. They squeaked out one win last week and face another big test this week.
Conestoga (Pa.) suffered its first loss and Good Counsel (Md.) ended its regular season with a loss to open the door for unbeaten St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.) to move up in the Mid-Atlantic Top 10.
The South Region rankings haven't changed, as the top teams continue to win. West Forsyth (Ga.) and Milton (Ga.) closed out their regular seasons in dominant fashion, while a trio of Florida juggernauts continues to pile up playoff wins.
The West's most significant move is a short slide up by unbeaten Jesuit Portland (Ore.), but more moves could be coming because there are some enormous in-region matchups on tap this week highlighted by Coronado (Calif.) vs. La Costa Canyon (Calif.).
Below you'll find this week's USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Top 10 updates for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West regions, complete with recaps of the teams' recent and upcoming games.
Compiled by USA Lacrosse writers with input from coaches around the country, rankings and records reflect results as of previous Sunday.
