The parity in Land of 10,000 Lakes lacrosse has been the story of the early season. That includes the Lakers topping Stillwater by a goal, then falling to Edina by a goal. The Hornets then fell to Buffalo by a goal, and Buffalo fell to Cretin-Derham Hall by, you guessed it, a goal. Mariemont’s week also included quality in-state wins over Cincinnati Hills Christian and Worthington Kilbourne. The Warriors’ balance showed against the Eagles with four players contributing two goals apiece in their 13-11 win. Previous: 10

West Top 10
Jesuit Portland (Ore.) went toe to toe with an in-state rival and came out with a crucial win to remain unbeaten and ranked in the West Region. There are no newcomers with most of the Top 10 taking care of business last week.
Coronado (Calif.) was particularly impressive in its three wins. Redwood (Calif.) dropped after a loss. The California teams are winding down their regular seasons and looking for momentum heading into the playoffs.
Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) remains No. 1 after two dominant wins keep their perfect record intact. There were no changes in the top six teams' rankings.
Our West rankings cover the Mountain, Pacific and Northwest regions and at least part of the Southwest.
1. Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.), 11-0
Sacred Heart Prep stays firmly at the top after dominant wins over Marin Academy (Calif.) and Menlo-Atherton (Calif.), outscoring opponents 36–7 across the two games. They continue to control both ends of the field with ease, and there’s little indication of a slip before the highly anticipated matchup with St. Ignatius (Calif.) on April 29. Previous: 1
2. Valor Christian (Colo.), 7-2
Valor didn’t take the field this week due to weather, so they remain in a holding pattern. Their résumé still includes a strong 13–6 win over Regis Jesuit (Colo.), and upcoming games against Columbine (Colo.) and No. 7 Fairview (Colo.) should provide a better read on where they stand heading into the postseason. Previous: 2
3. Coronado (Calif.), 11-3
Coronado had one of the best weeks in the rankings, picking up three wins over Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) 13–11, Patrick Henry (Calif.) 19–6, and Marlborough (Calif.) 19–8. The ability to win a tight game and then dominate in the others highlights their versatility and momentum. Previous: 3
4. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 12-1
La Costa Canyon added another solid result with a 9–6 win over San Marcos (Calif.). It wasn’t their most explosive performance, but they continue to stack wins and play a consistent brand of lacrosse as they head into the final stretch of the regular season. Previous: 4
5. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 11-4
St. Ignatius snapped their losing streak emphatically with a 23–2 win over Woodside (Calif.). While the level of competition wasn’t top-tier, the response matters. Their upcoming matchup with Sacred Heart Prep will be one of the biggest games left on the West Coast schedule. Previous: 4
6. Santa Margarita (Calif.), 13-2
Santa Margarita picked up a tight 10–8 win over Mater Dei (Calif.), continuing to show they can close out competitive games. With just one regular season game remaining, they’ve built a strong, steady résumé heading into the postseason. Previous: 6
7. Fairview (Colo.), 8-1
Fairview continues to rise after dominant wins over Ralston Valley (Colo.) 21–7 and Poudre District (Colo.) 19–5. They’ve handled in-state competition convincingly, and upcoming matchups against Kent Denver (Colo.) and Valor Christian will be key tests. Previous: 8
8. Mira Costa (Calif.), 12-3
Mira Costa picked up a decisive 19–1 win over Peninsula (Calif.), taking care of business against a weaker opponent. Their upcoming rematch with Redondo Union (Calif.), who beat them 10–9 earlier this season, will be an important measuring stick. Previous: 9
9. Redwood (Calif.), 11-4
Redwood drops after a 13–8 loss to San Ramon Valley (Calif.). The result stands out given the opponent, and while they’ve shown competitiveness throughout the season, this is the kind of loss that creates separation in this part of the rankings. Previous: 7
10. Jesuit Portland (Ore.), 7-0
Jesuit Portland remains undefeated, highlighted by a high-scoring 16–15 win over Grant (Ore.) and a more controlled 14–3 win over Westview (Ore.). They continue to produce results, though tougher tests will be important to gauge their ceiling. Previous: 10
