Delbarton Rises Again In USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25
While the first 15 teams stayed intact because their seasons were already concluded, a huge showdown win went to Delbarton (N.J.), while La Salle (Pa.), Summit (N.J.) and Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) wrapped up state titles and Manhasset (N.Y.) also won a state crown to debut in the USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25, presented by CWENCH Hydration.
Delbarton was able to hold off Seton Hall Prep (N.J.) to avenge a regular-season loss and win their state championship matchup. Seton Hall was the defending state champion.
La Salle (Pa.) hadn't won a state title since 2019. The Explorers stopped a pair of public school juggernauts in Springfield-Delco (Pa.) and then defending champion Radnor (Pa.) to secure their championship.
Summit (N.J.) upheld its favored role. The Hilltoppers won the Group 3 state crown in New Jersey. After getting by a tough Chatham (N.J.) team, they pulled away from Shawnee (N.J.) down the stretch for the championship.
Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) remained unstoppable down the stretch. They finished off the season on a 17-game winning streak after getting by Marcellus (N.Y.) in their championship matchup.
Manhasset (N.Y.), which disrupted the rankings two weeks ago with a win over Garden City (N.Y.), also kept up its winning ways, finishing the year with a state title win over Victor (N.Y.).
The remainder of National Top 25 teams have concluded their seasons.
