LI Champ Cold Spring Harbor Ranked in USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25
Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) added to its winning streak with another Long Island championship to earn a new spot in the USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25, presented by CWENCH Hydration.
The Seahawks have won 15 straight games since they got Dylan Reilly back from injury and are brimming with confidence as they head into the state semifinals.
Cold Spring Harbor also benefitted from Manhasset's (N.Y.) Nassau title win over previously ranked Garden City (N.Y.) at the end of last week. The Seahawks defeated Manhasset in the midst of their run after a slow start to the year.
Seton Hall Prep (N.J.) is another big mover that has rebounded from a slow start to the season. The Pirates avenged an earlier loss with a state semifinal win over St. Augustine (N.J.). The win sets up a championship match with national impact when they face Delbarton (N.J.) today.
Summit (N.J.) also has a big challenge ahead in New Jersey state tournament action. The Hilltoppers take on a hungry Chatham (N.J.) team that beat Delbarton earlier this season.
La Salle (Pa.) is two wins away from capturing the Pennsylvania AAA state tournament. Its semifinal matchup today against Springfield-Delco (Pa.) is finals worthy. Both teams have cruised through their first two rounds.
The remainder of National Top 25 teams have concluded their seasons.
