The USA Lacrosse Public High School Boys’ National Top 25 went unchanged for the first time this year with most ranked teams either having completed their seasons or playing much lower-seeded teams in early tournament action. Form held with the higher-ranked teams winning their matchups over the last week.

There’s a top-five matchup tonight in Pennsylvania. Radnor (Pa.) meets Springfield-Delco (Pa.) for the second time this season, this time for the District 1 3A championship. Radnor won the first meeting by a goal, the only blemish on Springfield’s ledger.

Another monster matchup looms when No. 6 New Canaan (Conn.) faces No. 11 Ridgefield (Conn.) in the FCIAC championship tonight. New Canaan won the regular-season meeting 15-9 on May 19. New Canaan beat No. 12 Darien (Conn.) 7-6 in the semifinals, while Ridgefield pulled out an 11-9 win over No. 13 Staples (Conn.).

A Top 25 showdown for a state title went to No. 9 Urbana (Md.) last week. The Hawks got three goals and an assist from Jayden Sharper, and Zach Thayer made 12 saves in a 5-2 win over No. 25 Broadneck (Md.) to repeat as Class 4A state champions.

No. 17 Cape Henlopen (Del.) will try to avenge one of its two losses — both to private schools — when it meets Salesianum (Del.) for the state championship Saturday.

In the South Region, Lake Norman (N.C.) will take its shot at Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) in the 4A state championship after Middle Creek (N.C.), led by career 400-point scorer Jayce Konowitz, saw its season end with a 9-8 loss to Gibbons in the 4A East regional Wednesday.

New to the West Region is Bellevue (Wash.). The Wolverines were 7-7 before reeling off six straight wins to ultimately capture the 3A state title with a 7-4 win over Mercer Island (Wash.), one of the teams that defeated them earlier in the year. Eastlake (Wash.) moved up in the West after capturing the 4A state title, 9-8, over Mount Si (Wash.).

In the Midwest Region, it'll be a top-10 meeting when No. 1 Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) faces No. 6 Dublin Jerome (Ohio).
