Defending NCAA champion Adelphi and Tampa earned the No. 1 seeds for the North and South, respectively, in the NCAA Division II men’s lacrosse tournament. The NCAA announced the full bracket Sunday evening.
Most notable among the teams is second-seeded Limestone, which is making its 23rd appearance in the NCAA tournament, second-most all-time in Division II men’s lacrosse. It will also be Limestone’s final appearance after news broke last week that the school will shut down following the end of the academic year.
The first round of the tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, with all games beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern at the higher seed.
The quarterfinals will be played Sunday, May 11, at 1 p.m. with the semifinals scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at 1 p.m.
