The Athlete Development Model (ADM)
The Athlete Development Model is an athlete-centered framework, designed to challenge athletes appropriately at any biological and skill development stage they may be in. ADM uses a station-based practice approach to maximize reps, encourage athlete autonomy, and develop skills in individual and team formats. Youth practices prioritize fun and physical skill development, and as an athlete progresses, the station-based approach provides intentional drill and practice design that sharpens individual skills, fosters creativity, and builds game IQ.
