The U.S. men were among the first in the world to tinker with the new sixes discipline and have played at the international level since 2021, including a silver medal finish at The World Games 2022.
Officially launched in 2021, sixes is a new discipline of the sport that was developed with the Olympics in mind. That vision became reality when lacrosse was selected for inclusion in the LA28 Olympics. The fast-paced game will give lacrosse a platform never seen before in the sport's history.
