Seconds after Jenika Cuocco corralled one final save, the Maryland Charm celebrated the inaugural Women’s Lacrosse League championship.

The Charm held off a furious Palms rally late in the first half to win the first-ever WLL title.

The California Palms and Maryland Charm boast rosters full of recent gold medalists. On Saturday, many of them will be playing against each other for another big prize.
