All is calm at the top of the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II Men’s Top 20, with the top nine teams surviving tests and staying put for this week.
The only member of the top 10 to fall last week was Saint Anselm, which dropped a 15-14 thriller to Adelphi on Saturday. The Hawks mounted a comeback in the final minutes but ultimately fell short.
New to the rankings is a team that stumbled out of the gates but has found its groove. Belmont Abbey has now won four straight after topping Mount Olive over the weekend.

Florida Tech (+3)
The Panthers have shaken off the overtime loss to Tampa two weeks ago and have rallied off consecutive victories over Colorado Mesa and Saint Leo. After scoring 10 goals per game in a 1-2 start, Florida Tech has tallied 15.8 per game in its last six games.
Saint Anselm (-3)
The Hawks faced two of the top teams in the country, let alone the Northeast 10, in a matter of a week and lost by a combined three goals. This team still has plenty of reason to believe it can compete for an NCAA tournament berth.
Belmont Abbey (No. 18)
Less than a month ago, the Crusaders crashed out of the rankings on the heels of an 0-4 start. Since then, losses to Limestone, Florida Tech, Florida Southern and Lenoir-Rhyne look a little better. Not to mention that Belmont Abbey has rallied off wins over Catawba, Queens, Barton and Mount Olive. At 2-0 in Conference Carolinas, Belmont Abbey is getting hot at the right time.
Maryville (was No. 20)
One of the hottest teams in the country was upended by Rockhurst by nine goals. It wasn’t quite the start to the GLVC season that Maryville had hoped, and it doesn’t get easier for the Saints. Lindenwood awaits on Wednesday afternoon.
