If 2021 was the year lacrosse came back, then 2022 was the year the sport was made whole.

The Ivy League returned with a vengeance in the spring. World championships delayed due to the pandemic made for a thrilling summer. College teams led by loaded fifth-year classes delivered perfect seasons culminating in NCAA titles. Legendary coaches and generational players went out on their terms, giving us a last ride to remember.

Now, we need your help to determine the best of the best.

Twenty-eight pages in our December 2022 magazine were not nearly enough to capture the totality of this year in lacrosse. Join us over the next few weeks and celebrate the Best of Lax in 2022.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 5, you can vote on Twitter to determine winners in 15 #BestOfLax2022 categories. We’ll reveal a new category and new poll every weekday through Friday, Dec. 23. You’ll have 24 hours each day to gather your friends and vote for your favorite player, team, personality and more. The nominees might even get in on the action, too.
