Utah Valley, coming off a runner-up finish in 2024 and a semifinal appearance in 2025, takes the top spot in the USA Lacrosse MCLA Division I Preseason Top 20.
The Wolverines finished the 2025 season with a 13-4 record and return Blake Yates, the USA Lacrosse MCLA Division I Preseason Player of the Year. Yates earned second-team All-America honors in 2025 with 76 points on 51 goals and 25 assists.
The Wolverines are followed immediately by their rivals at Brigham Young, which also made the semifinals a season ago. Tennessee and San Diego State take the third and fourth spots, respectively, after falling in the first round last spring.
Defending champion Liberty rounds out the top five.
