Keiser (Fla.) won the inaugural NAIA Men’s Lacrosse Championship Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga., on Kegan Hufford's overtime goal that gave the Seahawks at 14-13 win over Cumberlands (Ky.)

The game faced significant delays due to severe weather conditions, forcing multiple time adjustments.

Owen Hebenstreit opened the fourth quarter 23 seconds after Cumberlands won the faceoff by scoring into the upper corner for a 12-9 lead. Keiser responded quickly with a pair of goals just six seconds apart from each other out of the sticks of Prather and Cole Nappi to cut the margin back to one.

Kegan Hufford knotted the score for the first time since the second quarter as Rundle connected with Hufford in traffic before Hufford put it away with a highlight behind-the-back goal with 8:19 to play in regulation. He wasn’t done.

Hufford put the Seahawks on top 13-12 with 7:02 remaining. Jack Sidwall picked up a ground ball in traffic and turned it into what ended up being the game-tying goal off a spectacular shot from Kava with under four minutes to play in regulation.

Keiser won the opening faceoff of overtime, and the Seahawks came out of a timeout ready to call game. Hufford nailed the winner to bring the title to West Palm Beach, Fla.
