Defending WCLA Division I national champion Boston College Club is kicking off its title defense the right way as the No. 1 team in the WCLA Division I Preseason Top 20.

UCLA, the team that fell in overtime to the Eagles in the WCLA championship, rightfully checks in close behind at No. 2, followed by Georgia, Clemson and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.

In Division II, defending champion CSU San Marcos is no longer around — the Cougars moved up to Division I and rank 15th to start the spring. That means Montana State assumes the No. 1 spot for now after finishing as the runner-up to CSU San Marcos last year.

The Road to Naples and the WCLA championship has officially begun in earnest.
