This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition.

Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.

Alyssa Daley, Navy

Daley has quietly put together one of the best draw seasons in the country, and she collected her second straight game with 17 draw controls in a 17-11 win over Army on Saturday. She chipped in an assist for good measure.

Daley, a defender, has controlled 136 draws this spring for the Mids, who hold second place in the Patriot League behind Loyola.

Carley Tepel, Flagler

Tepel, a sophomore, continued her torrid scoring last Saturday, tallying eight goals and one assist to help No. 11 Flagler stay undefeated in the Gulf South Conference with an 18-8 win over Alabama-Huntsville. Tepel has 21 goals in the past three games and leads the GSC with 52 goals.

Olivia Lai, Wesleyan

Wesleyan was one of the biggest risers in the USA Lacrosse Top 20 this week, jumping to No. 2 after a 3-0 week. Lai was at the heart of the effort, burying 15 goals (on 22 shots) with one assist.

She was crucial to a 13-10 win over William Smith, scoring six goals — three in each half.
