There was little activity across the USA Lacrosse Division III Women’s Top 20, but in the first update of 2025, there’s still one notable result to recognize.
Franklin & Marshall saw its stock rise after a 16-12 win over Washington and Lee, resulting in a one-spot jump to No. 2. The Diplomats leapfrog Tufts, which is inactive until March 1 against Connecticut College.
F&M trailed 4-2 after the first 10 minutes but turned it around and held a 9-6 lead by halftime. Lydia Cassilly led the charge with six goals. Lane Lamberth added four goals, and Lauren Pittman contributed three goals, two assists and 10 draw controls.
Elsewhere, Christopher Newport won its season opener and moved up one place to No. 15.
