The top two teams in the first update to the NJCAA Women's Lacrosse Poll have yet to play a game, but the notable action in the first in-season update comes at No. 3.

Monroe Community College handily beat previous-No. 3 Harford Community College 17-7, so Monroe has entered the fray to occupy Harford's old No. 3 spot.

Harford dropped to No. 5.
