Eight is great. Being at the top of the Ancient Eight is even better.
Princeton extended its winning streak to eight games and asserted itself atop the Ivy League with its win over Yale, elevating the Tigers to No. 10 in the latest USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Top 20.
The Tigers scored three straight after Yale knotted the score at 10. Maggie Molnar gave them the lead for good at 11-10, but McKenzie Blake and Haven Dora quickly added insurance for good measure.
Now losers of three straight, Yale has taken a tumble from No. 4 a few weeks back to No. 12 in this latest update.
Princeton and Yale are joined by two more Ivy League teams in the Top 20 — No. 14 Penn and No. 19 Brown.
