USA Lacrosse Announces 2026 Division I Women's Preseason All-Americans
On Tuesday, the 2026 USA Lacrosse Division I Women’s Preseason All-Americans were announced, honoring 75 players from 30 institutions.
Defending undefeated NCAA champion North Carolina rightfully paces the field with eight All-American selections, including three on the first team — 2025 Tewaaraton Award winner Chloe Humphrey, 2025 IWLCA Defensive Player of the Year Sam Forrest and 2025 first-team All-American Brooklyn Walker-Welch.
NCAA semifinalist and preseason No. 3 Boston College has seven All-American nods, with two first-team choices in defender Shea Baker and goalie Shea Dolce.
Northwestern, the preseason No. 2 team and last year’s runner-up, is tied with Florida, the preseason No. 4, and Stanford, the preseason No. 6, with five All-Americans.
Preseason All-Americans are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from collegiate coaches.
