Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) is the new No. 1 in the Northeast, with Choate (Conn.) and Belmont Hill (Mass.) also jumping into the latest USA Lacrosse High School Boys' Regional Rankings.
Lawrenceville (N.J.) picked up a huge national win that also enabled the Big Red to make a significant jump in the Mid-Atlantic.

NORTHEAST Top 10
Choate (Conn.) and Belmont Hill (Mass.) are both 7-2 and on the rise. They take the final two spots in the region after improved play in recent weeks.
Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) takes over the top spot in the region after Salisbury (Conn.) lost for the first time this season, albeit it out of region. Three ranked teams have one loss apiece, with St. Sebastian’s (Mass.) joining Loomis and Salisbury.
St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) slipped in the rankings, and narrowly holds the No. 5 spot over a Chaminade (N.Y.) team it will face.
Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.) kept up its perfect start to move up one spot and Garden City slides up two spots on the strength of its 7-1 start. .

1. Loomis Chaffee (Conn.), 7-1
David Disque (Johns Hopkins) had six goals and one assist, Rowyn Nurry (Cornell) had three goals and four assists, OJ Ika had five goals and one assist, Cole Goodwillie (Harvard) had three assists and Gennaro Pompano added a goal in an 18-11 win over Avon Old Farms (Conn.). Previous: 3
2. Salisbury (Conn.), 7-1
Following a 15-6 victory over Westminster (Conn.), the Crimson Knights suffered their first defeat of the season, falling to Lawrenceville (NJ), 8-6. Salisbury School (Conn.) will look to bounce back when they host Hill Academy (Ont.) on April 23. Previous: 1
3. St. Sebastian’s (Mass.), 7-1
It’s now seven straight wins for the Arrows, following a 19-2 victory over Lawrence Academy (Mass.). Ty Curry (Notre Dame) had four goals and one assist, Paul Armstrong (Holy Cross) had three goals and two assists and Tedy Frisoli (Duke), John Sternberg (Dartmouth) and Crosby Thurmond (Holy Cross) had two goals and two assists apiece. 4. Brunswick (Conn.), 7-2
The Bruins scored the first six goals of the game and, after leading 8-5 at halftime, Tucker Spiess (Princeton) helped anchor a Brunswick (Conn.) defense that held Ridgefield (Conn.) scoreless in the third quarter en route to a 14-6 victory. Hill Academy comes to Cosby Field next. Previous: 5
5. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), 7-3
It’s a rare losing streak for the Friars following back-to-back home defeats, first to Spalding (MD), 12-8, and then to Haverford (PA), 12-9. And that comes with the anticipated annual rivalry showdown with Chaminade (N.Y.) on deck, followed by hosting Lawrenceville (N.J.) on the weekend. Previous: 2
6. Chaminade (N.Y.), 7-1
The Flyers are surging, with Quinn Ball leading the way. The Penn-bound faceoff specialist won 21 of 25 faceoffs, Gavin Lynch (Notre Dame) had five goals and two assists, James Gillis (Duke) had three goals and two assists and John Balsamo (Virginia) had two goals and four assists in a 16-10 win at Darien (Conn.). 7. Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.), 8-0
James Bruno (Dickinson) had 10 goals and one assist, Anthony Raio (North Carolina) had five goals and seven assists, Zach Marco (Harvard) had five goals and one assist and Luke Bradley added three goals and five assists in a 27-7 win over Ward Melville (N,.Y.) for a Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.) team averaging 19.5 goals per game. 8. Garden City (N.Y.), 7-1
Charlie Koester (Lehigh) had four goals and one assist, Dan Medjid (Holy Cross) had two goals and two assists, Anthony Asaro had two goals and one assist, Luke Cascadden (Navy) won 17 of 20 faceoffs and Jake Schlipf made 14 saves in a 10-6 win over Jamesville-DeWitt (N.Y.). Previous: 10
9. Choate (Conn.), 7-2
Oliver Nappi (Yale), who missed the last two games, returned for the Wild Boars to score four goals and added one assist, Mitch Kavey (Loyola) had two goals and one assist and Mac Privateer was a brick wall in the cage with an 80% save percentage in a 12-5 win over Phillips-Andover (Mass.). 10. Belmont Hill (Mass.), 7-2
After opening the season with back-to-back defeats to Deerfield (Mass.) and Choate, the Hillers have reeled off seven straight wins, which includes a 20-9 victory at Groton School (Mass.). Next up for Belmont Hill is Roxbury Latin (Mass.), with a showdown against St. Sebastian coming up in early May. Previous: NR

Mid-Atlantic Top 10
Teams continue to shine in an incredible Mid-Atlantic Region. It’s such a deep region that the No. 9 team, Landon (Md.), is sitting there at 13-1 and the No. 8 team, Boys’ Latin (Md.), is the only team that has solved national No. 1 Archbishop Spalding (Md.) in an MIAA that could be anyone’s to win this year.
Spalding kept its spot atop the rankings by controlling the game in an impressive win over St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) in a big interstate showdown.
Lawrenceville (N.J.) gets rewarded as the first team to knock off Salisbury (Conn.) in another major cross-region matchup. The Big Red jump up to No. 2 this week and another loaded schedule has them in the mix for the No. 1 spot again.
No. 3 Delbarton (N.J.) beat a pair of highly respected in-state foes. Malvern Prep (Pa.) went to overtime to stop Haverford School (Pa.) in another incredible matchup in the series. Haverford still moved up a spot when it went on the road for a quality win at St. Anthony’s (N.Y.).

1. Archbishop Spalding (Md.) 12-1
Maryland commit Brody Mollot scored four goals and had an assist, St. John Fisher commit Grady Swidersky also had four goals and assist, Virginia-bound LSM Robby Hopper was a standout on defense and scored two goals and had an assist, Navy-bound Ryan Criswell won more than 50 percent at X and Mercer commit Jacob Neuman made nine saves in a 12-8 win over St. Anthony’s (N.Y.). The week begins with another challenge against Calvert Hall (Md.) in a matchup of one-loss MIAA teams before they face Severn (Md.). Previous: 1
2. Lawrenceville (N.J.) 10-2
The Big Red became the first team to defeat Salisbury, winning on the road, 8-6. It was a one-goal deficit at halftime before Lawrenceville put the clamps on to shut out Salisbury in the third quarter and come away with a huge win. Colby Roussettie scored a hat trick and had an assist, Jake Sturtevant scored twice and had an assist and Ayden Matthews made the most of move to offense with a goal and two assists to give the team a lift. Luke Vecchione went 13-for-16 at X. The Big Red doubled up on St. Ignatius (Calif.) 12-6 to begin the week. They face Blue Ridge (Va.) before another marquee matchup at St. Anthony’s (N.Y.). 3. Delbarton (N.J.) 7-1
The defense was dominant again in a 12-5 win over Mountain Lakes (N.J.), their sixth straight victory. Peter Falk scored a hat trick and had three assists, Gavin Romweber also had a hat trick and two assists and Brandon Fodor scored a pair of goals and had an assist. Kane Quenault came off the bench to win 8 of 9 faceoffs in the second half and help the Green Wave rally for a 9-5 win over Summit (N.J.). It was Summit’s first loss of the season. They led, 5-2, at halftime before Quenault helped momentum shift and Delbarton shut out Summit in the second half. Romweber scored a hat trick and added two assists, Falk had a goal and two assists and Duke-bound Will Pedicano had four ground balls and a goal. Up next are Westfield (N.J.) and Malvern Prep (Pa.). 4. McDonogh (Md.) 9-4
In a rematch of last year’s MIAA championship game, the Eagles were victors again. McDonogh came out with an important 10-6 win over Boys’ Latin (Md.) in their only game of the week. Michael Tan led the defense, Aidan Seibel stopped seven shots, Brendan Millon had a hat trick and three assists and Bogue Hahn scored three times and dished out an assist. McDonogh is one of three one-loss MIAA teams. They host Mount St. Joseph (Md.) next. Previous: 3
5. Calvert Hall (Md.) 10-1
Caleb Kelly scored four times and Peyton Forte had a hat trick and three assists in a 14-5 win over Gilman (Md.). Ben Cuomo won 15 of 23 faceoffs. The win enabled the Cardinals to remain as one of three one-loss teams in the MIAA. They face off against another of them, Archbishop Spalding (Md.), this week in a big game for playoff seeding before facing another challenge from St. Paul’s (Md.). Previous: 4
6. Malvern Prep (Pa.) 10-5
Georgetown commit Jake Bickel’s fourth goal of the game came with 1:29 left in overtime for a 10-9 win over Haverford School (Pa.) in another chapter in the great rivalry. Dylan Novak and Kevin Piffath both had three goals balls apiece and Heath Jones made 11 saves. Danny Lucovich delivered three assists, and Mike Ortlieb, Joey Murphy and Owen Mears all had two goals apiece in a 13-1 win over Penn Charter (Pa.). Malvern faces Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.), Episcopal Academy (Pa.) and Delbarton (N.J.) this week. Previous: 6
7. Haverford School (Pa.) 9-3
Evan Large scored five times in a 12-8 win at St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) to end the week. Griff Meyer won 14 of 20 faceoffs, Conor Morsell scored a hat trick and forced overtime in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, but the Fords fell 10-9 in overtime to Malvern (Pa.). Large and Reed Campbell scored goals apiece and Finn French had two assists. Henry Ingersoll won 10 of 12 faceoffs and Chris Burnetta, Morsell and Max Fertels all had hat tricks in a 21-4 win over Germantown Academy (Pa.). Previous: 8
8. Boys' Latin (Md.) 8-4
Matt Higgins had a hat trick and assist and Garrett Held made six saves, but the Lakers suffered their second loss in MIAA play, 10-6, at the hands of McDonogh (Md.). Boys’ Latin tries to get back to winning when they play at Severn (Md.). Previous: 7
9. Landon (Md.) 13-1
Devin Stewart’s second goal of the game was the overtime game-winner in a 9-8 triumph over Gonzaga (D.C.) to start the week. Sean Murray had a hat trick. Murray scored another hat trick and dished out an assist, Aedan Cassidy had a hat trick and Jonas Hawkins scored a goal and had an assist in an 11-8 win over Bullis (Md.). The game was tied, 8-8, before Landon made the plays down the final five minutes to pull away. They play Blue Ridge (Va.) and Episcopal (Va.) this week. Previous: 9
10. Loyola Blakefield (Md.) 8-4
The Dons got three goals from Matt Joerres and two goals apiece from Luca Ball, Bennett Cook, Liam Finkel and Cooper Pasko in a 15-5 win over John Carroll (Md.) in their only game this week. Loyola plays at St. Paul’s (Md.) and hosts Gilman (Md.). Previous: 9

SOUTH Top 10
Lake Mary (Fla.) extended its perfect start to 16 straight wins, which allowed it to make the only move in the South.
Lake Mary’s sustained success enabled them to jump ahead of IMG Academy (Fla.), which lost for just the second time this season. IMG’s season has ended.
Episcopal Dallas (Texas) won a double-overtime game over another top-10 team, The Woodlands (Texas), to keep its spot at No. 4.
Lambert (Ga.) remained perfect on the season but needed overtime to do so..

1. Benjamin (Fla.), 19-1
Jack Kelleher’s big week helped the Buccaneers to a pair of postseason wins. He had five goals and two assists in a 22-0 blanking of John Carroll Catholic (Fla.). He followed that up with a hat trick in a 17-2 win over St. Edward’s (Fla.). Previous: 1
2. Lake Mary (Fla.), 16-0
The quest for an unbeaten season continued last week as the Rams used a 9-0 first-quarter lead to propel them to a 19-2 victory over Lake Brantley (Fla.). Lake Mary then started strong again and never looked back in a 15-2 win over Oviedo (Fla.). Previous: 3
3. IMG Academy (Fla.), 14-2
The Ascenders concluded their regular season with a 14-9 victory over Governor’s Academy (Mass.). One day earlier, IMG lost 19-11 to Belmont Hill (Mass). Previous: 2
4. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 17-1
Good Friday provided lots of drama for the Eagles, who held off The Woodlands (Texas) 12-11 in a double-overtime thriller. Josh Logan scored the game-winner. ESD also picked up a 10-4 victory over St. Mary’s Ryken (Md.). Previous: 4
5. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 16-3
The Raiders’ postseason continued last Tuesday with a 17-0 shutout of Columbus (Fla.). St. Thomas Aquinas next faces Gulf Coast (Fla.) in the playoffs. Previous: 5
6. Highland Park (Texas), 14-3
The Fighting Scots bounced back from their loss to Dallas Jesuit with an 11-4 win over Rockwall (Texas). Highland Park then added a 16-5 victory over Southlake (Texas). Previous: 6
7. St. Andrew’s (Fla.), 14-6
Nick Testa’s 14-point week led the Scots to two wins. He had eight points in a 17-1 win over Westminster Academy (Fla.), followed by six points in a 15-6 victory over St. John Paul II (Fla.). Previous: 7
8. Westlake (Texas), 10-3
The Chaps were dominant last week, outscoring opponents 40-1. They opened with a 20-1 win over Vandegrift (Texas), then blanked Dripping Springs (Texas) 20-0. Previous: 8
9. Lambert (Ga.), 16-0
The Longhorns remain unbeaten but had a close call. Lambert edged Lassiter (Ga.) 10-9 in double overtime, with Brody Powell scoring the game-winner. Brooks Wehman led the team with four goals. Previous: 9
10. The Woodlands (Texas), 11-4
The Woodlands closed out their regular season with a heartbreaking 12-11 double-overtime loss to Episcopal Dallas. Previous: 10

midwest Top 10
Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) was the big mover in the Midwest. The Patriots won a showdown with then-No. 4 Upper Arlington (Ohio) in overtime to jump to the No. 4 spot. It was part of a perfect week.
St. Xavier (Ohio) continued its winning ways to remain at No. 1 while No. 2 Culver Academy (Ind.) was idle. The rankings were unaltered aside from Liberty.
Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) and Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.) all remain unbeaten on the season. Lake Forest (Ill.) and Brother Rice (Mich.) also retained their spots with perfect weeks to close out the rankings.

1. St. Xavier (Ohio), 8-1
The Bombers had a quiet week, playing just one game (a 21-4 win over St. Michael's College). This week includes signature showdowns against Olentangy Liberty (which recently scored an impressive overtime win over Greater Columbus counterpart Upper Arlington) and Carmel, one of Indiana's top programs. 2. Culver Academy (Ind.), 8-2
Following their big bounce-back week, which included wins over Hill Academy (Ont.) and Western Reserve Academy (Ohio), the Eagles had some well-deserved time off. Culver gets to remain home this week as well as it plays host to Everest Academy (Ont.) and Spire Academy (Ohio). Previous: 2
3. Western Reserve (Ohio), 10-4
The Pioneers won a pair of mid-week clashes with Kiski Prep (Pa.) and Everest Academy (Ont.). Their defense was particularly good with goalie Sam Beach, a Bryant commit, saving 27 of 40 shots on goal while the defenders in front of him were able to successfully clear the ball 92 percent of the time. 4. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 8-1
The Patriots impressed with a 3-0 week, including an overtime triumph over Upper Arlington, one of the Buckeye State's best. Luke Mulder (12 of 17 faceoffs, eight ground balls) and Ben Godwin (19 saves) came up huge against the Golden Bears, while Justin Sebert had the game-tying and game-winning goals and Jake Struck finished the week with eight goals and eight assists. 5. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 4-5
Playing a brutally tough schedule all season long, the Golden Bears bounced back once more, shaking off an overtime loss to Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) to double up on Mount Lebanon (Pa.). Previous: 4
6. Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), 10-0
The Shamrocks had a dominant week, topping Orchard Lake St. Mary's (Mich.) and St. Francis DeSales (Ohio) by a combined score of 43-4. Previous: 5
7. Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.), 10-0
After a number of impressive out-of-state wins, the Royals returned to in-state play and established their Hoosier State bonafides with road wins over two other top Indiana teams in Cathedral and Noblesville. David Gould was particularly explosive with four goals against the Irish and five in the first quarter against the Millers. Previous: 7
8. Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.), 8-0
The Hawklets impressed mightily in their lone game of the week, topping Lee's Summit North (Mo.) 16-4 as they've given up just 27 goals in eight games. It was a team effort in every sense with sophomore James Bundy and seniors John Eckles, Sam Komenda and Zack Thompson all tallying four points and 10 of Rockhurst's 16 total goals coming courtesy of an assist. 9. Lake Forest (Ill.), 9-1
The Scouts stayed undefeated against in-state opponents but it wasn't easy as they edged Neuqua Valley by two goals Monday and Loyola Academy by one Thursday. The challenges don't cease with three solid Land of Lincoln foes this week: Barrington, Glenbrook North and Libertyville. Previous: 9
10. Brother Rice (Mich.), 8-3
The Warriors were dominant in their lone game of the week, beating University of Detroit Jesuit (Mich.) 23-1. A challenging weekend awaits with always solid Dublin Jerome (Ohio) on April 25 and undefeated Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) the following day. Previous: 10

West Top 10
Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.) kept its No. 1 spot in the West Region and geared up for the playoffs with a thrilling end to the regular season. The Cubs edged No. 4 Torrey Pines in overtime to gain confidence heading into the biggest part of the year.
Torrey Pines faces another top-10 team this week when it takes on No. 9 La Costa Canyon (Calif.).
St. Ignatius (Calif.) used an impressive split against East Coast teams to keep its spot at No. 2, and Cherry Creek (Colo.) remains the only unbeaten team in the region at No. 3.

1. Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.), 18-3
Loyola-Los Angeles was crowned the Mission League champions after a 12-3 victory over St. Francis (Calif.) and maintained their momentum in a 14-13 double overtime defeat of No. 4 Torrey Pines (Calif.). Ten different Cubs scored in the regular season finale against the Falcons with junior Joey McNamara (Jacksonville) netting the game-winner. The CIF-SS Division I Playoffs are up next. Previous: 1
2. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 15-3
St. Ignatius closed out its East Coast road trip with a 13-8 victory over then-Northeast No. 7 Fairfield (Conn.), and a 12-6 loss No. 2 Lawrenceville (N.J.). The Wildcats wrap up the regular season against Archbishop (Calif.) and Juniperro Serra (Calif.) before the WCAL tournament. Previous: 2
3. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 11-0
Cherry Creek is the last undefeated team in the West Top 10 and the Bruins extended their winning streak with a 15-7 victory over Denver East (Colo.). Grandview (Colo.) and Cherokee Trail (Colo.) are up next in another pair of conference games. Previous: 3
4. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 10-5
Torrey Pines secured a 14-5 win against San Marcos (Calif.) before falling 14-13 to No. 1 Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.) in a thrilling double overtime battle. No. 9 La Costa Canyon (Calif.) is on deck. Previous: 4
5. Valor Christian (Colo.), 11-2
Valor Christian downed Rock Canyon (Colo.) 19-4 on the road then shut out Chaparral (Colo.), 22-0. The Eagles take on Regis Jesuit (Colo.) next in their penultimate regular season game. Previous: 5
6. Marin Catholic (Calif.), 14-4
Marin Catholic put up dominant performances against Redwood (Calif.) and San Marin (Calif.), totaling 37 scored goals and only allowing five through both games. The Wildcats face Rumson-Fair Haven (N.J.) and Chatham (N.J.) next. Previous: 6
7. De La Salle (Calif.), 13-3
De La Salle posted a shutout against California (Calif.) before routing Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) 26-1. Junior Kellen Dunn led the charge with five goals in the shutout and seven against Foothill. At least 10 different Spartans scored in each game. Granada (Calif.) and San Ramon Valley (Calif.) are next up. Previous: 7
8. Arapahoe (Colo.) 10-1
The Warriors are on a three-game winning streak after defeating Grandview (Colo.) 18-6 and Corner Canyon (Utah) 10-9 in a narrow victory. Senior Brody Nelson (Rollins) totaled 11 goals in the wins. Next is Colorado Academy (Colo.) and Denver South (Colo.) for another pair of league games. Previous: 8
9. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 9-5
