There’s a new No. 1 atop the USA Lacrosse High School Boys' South Top 10.
Benjamin (Fla.) won again in a rematch against preseason No. 1 St. Andrew’s (Fla.) to solidify its undefeated start and take over the top spot. No. 2 Lake Mary (Fla.) is perched just behind and has looked positively overpowering.
The newest team to the rankings comes from a less traditional state. Montgomery Bell (Tenn.) knocked off a Roswell (Ga.) team that already had an impressive win of its own and also defeated Centennial (Ga.) in a productive road trip.
More moves could be in the cards depending on the outcome of a top-10 showdown in Texas between early unbeatens Episcopal Dallas and Westlake.

1. Benjamin (Fla.), 8-0
The Buccaneers continued their impressive start to the 2025 campaign with another trio of wins last week, including another big win against perennial powerhouse St. Andrew’s (Fla.). Benjamin also picked up victories over Miami Country Day (Fla.) and Gulliver Prep (Fla.). Jayden Vega had an impressive five-goal, three-assist effort versus St. Andrew’s (Fla.). Previous: 2
2. Lake Mary (Fla.), 5-0
The Rams continued their dominant start to the season by easily downing Lake Brantley (Fla.) 14-0 and Lake Howell 19-1. In five games, Lake Mary has outscored opposition 82-6. Previous: 1
3. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 2-0
The Eagles began their season last week with a bang. Episcopal knocked off Memorial (Texas) 20-7, which was followed by an 18-2 win over Kinkaid (Texas). ESD has a big match on its schedule this week against Westlake (Texas). Previous: 3
4. Highland Park (Texas), 6-1
The Fighting Scots survived a tight contest against the Woodlands (Texas), edging the Highlanders 9-8. Highland Park then tacked on a 13-4 win over Memorial (Texas) on Sunday. Previous: 5
5. St. Andrew’s (Fla.), 6-2
For the second time in two weeks, the Scots lost to Benjamin, this time by a 17-11 margin. St. Andrew’s week got off to a promising start with wins over NSU University (Fla.) and Oxbridge Academy (Fla.). Nick Testa and Dylan Faison both had a hat trick against Oxbridge Academy and two goals against Benjamin. Previous: 4
6. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 7-0
The Raiders continued their hot start with dominating wins over Columbus (Fla.), Plant (Fla.) and Newsome (Fla.). St. Thomas Aquinas has a key matchup against St. Edward’s (Fla.) awaiting this week. Previous: 7
7. Westlake (Texas), 2-0
After a nearly two-week layoff, the Chapperals returned to action with a 13-4 win over Austin (Texas). Westlake has a major challenge this week against Episcopal Dallas (Texas). Previous: 10
8. Montgomery Bell (Tenn.), 2-0
Powered by a five-goal effort by Cade Sturdivant, the Big Red survived a 12-11 thriller against Buford (Ga.) last week. Ben Smith helped Montgomery Bell with a six-goal performance in a 21-4 win over Centennial (Ga.). Previous: NR
9. Roswell (Ga.), 5-1
Roswell had its five-game winning streak to start the season snapped in a tight 12-11 loss to Montgomery Bell (Tenn.). The loss followed a 24-3 win over River Ridge (Ga.). Jackson Hardwick had five goals in the win, while Kaden Parla contributed four tallies. Previous: 6
10. Bolles (Fla.), 7-0
The Bulldogs are starting the season on a strong note, outsourcing the opposition 103-24. Boles defeated Fletcher (Fla.) 13-2 and Timber Creek (Fla.) 20-4. Preston Hager had six goals in the win over Timber Creek. Previous: NR

Josh Logan, Episcopal Dallas (Texas)
Josh Logan is expected to be one of Texas’ top players this season, and so far, the junior midfielder has not disappointed. He has notched 20 points in ESD’s first three games this season, including a six-goal, four-assist effort against Memorial (Texas). He is committed to Virginia.
