There’s a new No. 1 atop the USA Lacrosse High School Boys' South Top 10.
Benjamin (Fla.) won again in a rematch against preseason No. 1 St. Andrew’s (Fla.) to solidify its undefeated start and take over the top spot. No. 2 Lake Mary (Fla.) is perched just behind and has looked positively overpowering.
The newest team to the rankings comes from a less traditional state. Montgomery Bell (Tenn.) knocked off a Roswell (Ga.) team that already had an impressive win of its own and also defeated Centennial (Ga.) in a productive road trip.
More moves could be in the cards depending on the outcome of a top-10 showdown in Texas between early unbeatens Episcopal Dallas and Westlake.
Our South rankings cover the region from North Carolina south to Florida and west to Texas. Compiled by USA Lacrosse writers with input from coaches around the country, rankings and records reflect results as of previous Sunday.
