Garden City (N.Y.) and La Costa Canyon (Calif.) are the only two new teams in this week's regional Top 10 rankings.
The Northeast added Garden City (N.Y.). A strong start to the season helped the Trojans grab the final spot in the Top 10, while No. 1 changed hands with Salisbury (Conn.) taking over thanks to a dominant beginning to its schedule.
The Mid-Atlantic also had a change at the top. McDonogh (Md.) knocked off previously unbeaten Calvert Hall (Md.) to pave the way for Archbishop Spalding (Md.) to move to No. 1.
In the South, several Florida teams began playoffs with convincing wins. No rankings changed in a region that overall had a light week of action.
The Midwest also saw no change in its ranking despite busy schedules. The head-to-head matchups that happened within the region went to the higher-ranked teams.
In the West, La Costa Canyon (Calif.) followed the momentum of its win over Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) to the No. 9 spot. Sacred Heart remains in the ranking at No. 10. Cherry Creek (Colo.) won a huge showdown to remain the lone unbeaten in the region.

NORTHEAST Top 10
Salisbury (Conn.) assumes the top spot in the Northeast Region after St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) lost for the first time this season.
Garden City (N.Y.) moves into the Top 10 after a solid win over Wantagh (N.Y.). The rest of the region saw just subtle shifts.
St. Anthony’s remains highly ranked at No. 2. St. Sebastian’s (Mass.) and Brunswick (Conn.) flipped spots at 4 and 5 after Brunswick split its pair of games last week.
No. 6 Chaminade (N.Y.) and No. 9 Darien (Conn.) will meet this week in a key regional matchup with ranking implications. No. 7 Fairfield Prep (Conn.) looks to remain perfect in the early going but faces a challenge from Seton Hall Prep (N.J.) this week.

Cam Kelley scored five goals, Connor Wambach continued his dominance at the faceoff X, Jackson Allen was strong on the wing with eight ground balls and a goal in transition and Owen Pawlowski had a pair of goals in a 20-3 win at Avon Old Farms (Conn.). 2. St. Anthony's (N.Y.), 7-1
A 2-0 weekend at Notre Dame, capped by a 12-5 win over Upper Arlington (Ohio) Sunday, was a solid response to a double-overtime loss at Delbarton (N.J.). Gary Merrill (North Carolina) scored four goals and Gio Massaro (St. Bonaventure) and Braden Mutschler (Assumption) scored two goals apiece for the Friars, who host Archbishop Spalding (Md.) in a huge game April 17. 3. Loomis Chaffee (Conn.), 5-1
David Disque (Johns Hopkins) had three goals and two assists, OJ Ika netted a hat trick, Rowyn Nurry had two goals and two assists, Milki Conway-Reppert (Dartmouth) had two goals and one assist, Cole Goodwillie (Harvard) scored twice and Hayden Cody (Georgetown) won 15 of 19 faceoffs in a 15-8 win over Berkshire (Mass.). 4. St. Sebastian's (Mass.), 5-1
Crosby Thurmond (Holy Cross) had five goals and one assist, Paul Armstrong (Holy Cross) had four goals and one assist, Ty Curry (Notre Dame) had three goals and four assists, David Hahm (Boston University) scored twice and won 17 of 19 faceoffs and Tedy Frisoli added one goal and two assists in a 17-5 win over Thayer (Mass.). 5. Brunswick (Conn.), 4-2
Following a thrilling come-from-behind 8-7 win over Lawrenceville (N.J.) in a rematch of last year’s Prep National Championship, the Bruins rally from a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter came up just short in a 10-8 defeat at Malvern Prep (Pa.). Lucas Garcia (Virginia) was a bright spot with four goals. Previous: 4
6. Chaminade (N.Y.), 5-1
Like St. Anthony’s, Chaminade made the trip to Arlotta Stadium where the Flyers defeated St. Ignatius (CA), 9-7. Connor Kuttin had three goals and one assist, Gavin Lynch had two goals and two assists, John Balsamo had one goal and two assists and Quinn Ball had one goal and one assist and won 16 of 20 faceoffs. 7. Fairfield Prep (Conn.), 4-0
Finbar Malloy (Rutgers) had two goals and two assists, Nate Estrella (Air Force) had two goals and one assist, Luke Shannehan (Michigan) scored twice, Fynn Mulligan (Utah) had one goal and one assist and Matt Barry made 18 saves in a gritty 9-6 win at Don Bosco (N.J.). Previous: 8
8. Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.), 6-0
Anthony Raio (North Carolina) had six goals and five assists, James Bruno had five goals and Ryan Chung and Zach Marco added two goals and one assist apiece to guide Half Hollow Hills to a 20-2 win over Longwood (N.Y.). Previous: 9
9. Darien (Conn.), 2-1
It’s back-to-back Battle of the Sound wins for the Blue Wave and three out of the last four in the annual series against Manhasset. Ryan Thurlow (Villanova) had four goals and one assist to pace the Darien attack, which saw Wes Scallen score a hat trick and Henry Jeffers and Connor McNamara strike for two goals apiece in a 13-7 road win. Mid-Atlantic Top 10
There’s a new No. 1 in a Mid-Atlantic Region that’s making our heads spin. The region itself has been absurdly competitive. No game is predictable.
McDonogh (Md.) became the first team to defeat former top-ranked Calvert Hall (Md.), but then Archbishop Spalding (Md.) handled McDonogh later in the week to take the No. 1 spot.
Delbarton (N.J.) is rewarded the No. 2 spot for its wins over former national No. 1 St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) and Seton Hall Prep (N.J.). Then it gets quite tricky.
McDonogh moves ahead of Calvert and Lawrenceville (N.J.) after the Big Red lost to Brunswick (Conn.). Malvern Prep (Pa.) had a shot at moving up with a win over that same Brunswick team, but it suffered an upset loss to Episcopal (Pa.) to start the week.
Steadily developing Boys’ Latin (Md.), the only team to beat Spalding, comes in at No. 7 because it’s lost to all three teams directly ahead of it. Haverford (Pa.) could move up this week with a win over Malvern in a rivalry that’s become one of the best.

1. Archbishop Spalding (Md.) 11-1
The Cavaliers won both of their MIAA games to move to the top of the league at 4-1 in the conference. They were impressive in both. First, they dispatched of St. Mary’s (Md.) 17-9, and then defeated McDonogh (Md.), 14-9, after the Eagles had just handed Calvert Hall (Md.) their first loss of the season. The win avenged last year’s MIAA semifinal loss to McDonogh. Spalding has almost perfectly doubled opponents this season, 163-82, combined through 12 games. Their lone game this week is a key showdown at St. Anthony’s (N.Y.). Previous: 5
2. Delbarton (N.J.) 5-1
The Big Green picked up a huge out-of-state and big in-state win. Alex Schobel took a feed from Gavin Romweber and connected for a 12-11 double-overtime win over former national No. 1 St. Anthony’s (N.Y.). Christian Troczynski went 12 for 14 and Philip Minardo was 8 for 11 at X. Brandon Fodor led the offense with a hat trick while Schobel, Peter Falk and Chase Houser scored two goals apiece. Romweber had a goal and two assists. Johns Hopkins commit Tanner Shimko made nine saves, Falk scored twice and Romweber posted three points again in an 8-5 win over Seton Hall Prep (N.J.). They held SHP to less than half their scoring average. Delbarton goes on the road to play Summit (N.J.) and Mountain Lakes (N.J.) this week. Previous: 7
3. McDonogh (Md.) 8-4
Long pole Hayden Holmes deflected a last-second shot by Calvert Hall (Md.) to preserve a 10-9 win and hand the Cardinals their first defeat of the season. TC Goodman had a natural hat trick in the first half and Eli Schaller had a pair of goals while Brendan Millon scored once and assisted twice as McDonogh built a 10-4 lead. McDonogh fell behind 10-4 in the first half and lost, 14-9, to Archbishop Spalding (Md.) to end their week. They face Boys’ Latin (Md.) this week. Previous: 6
4. Calvert Hall (Md.) 9-1
Despite nine saves from Brady Stangle and two goals apiece from Jack Williams, Peyton Forte and Will Schwanke, the Cardinals lost for the first time this season, falling to McDonogh (Md.) 10-9. They bounced back in a big way with a 23-2 defeat of John Carroll (Md.). Calvert Hall plays Gilman (Md.) this week. Previous: 1
5. Lawrenceville (N.J.) 8-2
The Big Red split their week. They started with an 8-7 loss to Brunswick (Conn.) but followed it up with a 20-3 win over Hotchkiss (Conn.). Lawrenceville plays St. Ignatius (Calif.) and then goes to Salisbury (Conn.) for a huge showdown. Previous: 2
6. Malvern Prep (Pa.) 8-5
The Friars bounced back from a 6-5 loss to Episcopal (Pa.) with an 18-4 win over Germantown Academy (Pa.) and then a 10-8 win over Brunswick (Conn.). In the win over Brunswick, Malvern got two goals apiece from Mike Ortlieb, Owen Mears and Jake Bickel. Mears and Danny Lucovich also had two assists apiece. Heath Jones made 10 saves. Malvern plays at Haverford School (Pa.) in a great showdown and hosts Penn Charter (Pa.) to end its week. Previous: 3
7. Boys' Latin (Md.) 8-3
Trailing, 10-9, Boys’ Latin got a goal from Carston Shepherd to tie it and a goal from Matt Higgins for an 11-10 win over Mount St. Joseph (Md.). It was Higgins’ fourth goal of the game. Lincoln Herring delivered a hat trick. Higgins scored a hat trick in an 11-9 win over Loyola Blakefield (Md.). Their only game this week takes them to McDonogh (Md.). Previous: 4
8. Haverford School (Pa.), 7-2
Colin Decker made 13 saves and Evan Large had a hat trick and two assists in an 8-7 overtime win over Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.). Reed Campbell and Finn French scored twice apiece and Conor Morsell had two helpers. Chris Burnetta had two goals and three ground balls, Campbell supplied three assists and Morsell scored twice and assisted twice in a 13-1 win over Penn Charter (Pa.). They have a big week ahead with Malvern (Pa.), Germantown Academy (Pa.) and St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) on the schedule. Previous: 8
9. Loyola Blakefield (Md.), 7-4
Liam Finkel scored five times and Jesse D’Alonzo stopped nine shots in a 13-9 win over St. Mary’s (Md.). Matt Joerres, Eddie Webb and Luca Ball all had two goals apiece. The Dons opened the week with an 11-9 loss to Boys’ Latin (Md.). They play at John Carroll (Md.) this week. Previous: 9
10. Landon (Md.), 11-1
The Bears won both of their games last week. They handled Severna Park (Md.) 13-5 and then defeated St. Albans (D.C.) 11-7. Aedan Cassidy had four goals and two assists and Makana Neverosky fired in a hat trick in the win over Severna Park. Sean Murry scored four times and Devin Stewart finished with a hat trick in the win over St. Albans. Landon had won eight straight games heading into their Monday scheduled game against Gonzaga (D.C.). They’ll also play at Bullis (Md.) this week in a key IAC matchup for first place in the conference. Previous: 10

SOUTH Top 10
It was a light week in the South Region, consider it the calm before the storm with playoffs set to ramp up in several states. The rankings did not change, though a few of the teams suffered losses of note.
IMG Academy (Fla.) finally lost a game, but it came out of region. Highland Park (Texas) suffered an overtime defeat at the hands of Dallas Jesuit (Texas) after picking up two wins to start the week.
Lambert (Ga.) and The Woodlands (Texas) romped in their games this week. The Woodlands faces off against Episcopal Dallas (Texas) in a key meeting in the Lone Star State.

1. Benjamin (Fla.), 17-1
The Buccaneers will begin their postseason quest on April 15 versus John Carroll Catholic (Fla.) after closing the regular season with back-to-back overtime wins. Jayden Vega led Benjamin during the regular season with 62 goals and 101 points. Previous: 1
2. IMG Academy (Fla.), 13-1
The Ascenders’ undefeated start to the year came to an end after falling to Hill School (Pa.). IMG responded well to the loss by defeating Tabor Academy (Mass.) 11-8 and Holderness (N.H.) 11-10. IMG’s season concludes this week with matches against Belmont Hill (Mass.) and Governor’s Academy (Mass.). Previous: 2
3. Lake Mary (Fla.), 14-0
The Rams have enjoyed some time off after their regular season finished with a win over Bolles (Fla.) on April 5. Lake Mary begins playoff action April 14 versus Lake Brantley (Fla.). Previous: 3
4. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 15-1
The Eagles continued their dominant ways, winning a pair of contests by double figures. Episcopal picked up victories over Lovejoy (Texas ) and Kinkaid (Texas) before defeating St. Mark’s (Texas) 14-7. ESD has an important matchup against Woodlands (Texas). Previous: 4
5. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 15-3
The Raiders began the postseason by defeating Stoneman Douglas (Fla.) 22-0. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) next has Columbus (Fla.) on its playoff schedule. Previous: 5
6. Highland Park (Texas), 12-3
The Fighting Scots notched a dominating 17-3 victory over Curtis (Texas) before recording a 9-3 win over St. Mark’s (Texas). The week concluded with a 7-6 overtime loss to Dallas Jesuit (Texas). Previous: 6
7. St. Andrew’s (Fla.), 12-6
The Scots got a week off following their devastating 8-7 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas to finish the regular season. St. Andrew’s postseason gets underway with a tilt against Westminster Academy (Fla.). Previous: 7
8. Westlake (Texas), 8-3
After their loss to Highland Park, the Chaps answered with a 15-3 victory against TMI Episcopal (Texas). The regular season concludes this week with contests against Vandegrift (Texas) and Dripping Springs (Texas). Previous: 8

The Longhorns’ defense was stifling, earning back-to-back shutouts. Lambert picked up a 19-0 win over Forsyth Central (Ga.) and a 15-0 victory over South Forsyth (Ga.) before closing the week with a 13-3 win over McCallie (Tenn.). Previous: 9
10. The Woodlands (Texas), 11-3
The Highlanders won a trifecta of contests by a 66-6 margin. Woodlands picked up dominating wins over Kinkaid (Texas), Tahoma (Texas) and Cypress Woods (Texas). The regular season wraps up with a matchup against Episcopal Dallas (Texas). Previous: 10

After last week’s ranking fireworks, the Midwest Region was decidedly calm.
St. Xavier (Ohio) fought through a too-close-for-comfort game to keep its spot at No. 1. Culver Academy (Ind.) further established itself as a contender by defeating No. 3 Western Reserve (Ohio).
Upper Arlington (Ohio) took on some high out-of-region talent, and the losses make its record look less enticing though it’s holding the No. 4 spot.
Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.) needed overtime to remain unbeaten, one of three perfect teams thus far along with Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) and Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.).
Upper Arlington and No. 6 Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) meet in one of this week’s top Midwest matchups..

1. St. Xavier (Ohio), 7-1
Days after upsetting top-ranked Culver Academy (Ind.), the Bombers were nearly upset by another St. Xavier, ultimately edging their counterparts from Kentucky, 12-10. Two days later, they doubled up on Brother Rice, always one of Michigan's best teams, shutting the Warriors out in the third quarter, before topping Springboro (Ohio) by 19. Khalif Hocker totaled eight goals and nine assists across the three wins while Trent Yelton had 16 saves against the Warriors. Previous: 1
2. Culver Academy (Ind.), 8-2
The Eagles bounced back from their overtime loss to the Bombers in a big way, taking down a pair of top opponents in Hill Academy (Ont.) and Western Reserve Academy (Ohio). Among the weekend's big performances, Sean Grogan notched eight goals and three assists against the Pioneers. Tay Rodriguez won 70-plus percent of his faceoffs in both games, tallying 22 ground balls, while Bodhi Harmon had 28 saves across the two victories. Previous: 2
3. Western Reserve (Ohio), 8-4
The Pioneers dropped both of their games in Canada, falling by five to host Hill Academy (Ont.) and six to Culver Academy (Ind.). They may well get another shot against the Eagles at the Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Association Tournament, where the rivals have staged many epic clashes. Previous: 3
4. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 3-4
The Golden Bears' record continues to deceive as they went 0-2 against two of the top teams in the country: St. Ignatius out of California (the second-ranked team in the West) and St. Anthony's out of New York (the nation's top-ranked team). They were competitive in both, losing by four to the Wildcats and seven to the Friars. Upper Arlington's attention turns more local now, including intriguing showdowns against Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) and Mount Lebanon (Pa.) this week and undefeated Olentangy Orange (Ohio) and Midwest powerhouse WRA next week. 5. Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), 8-0
The Shamrocks survived two big tests to remain undefeated, edging in-state rival Brother Rice and Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) by a goal apiece, the latter coming in overtime. That overtime victory included huge performances from Luke Zajdel (5 goals) and Lachlan Moffatt (4 goals, 1 assist). Previous: 5
6. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 5-1
The Patriots went 2-1 this week, splitting a pair of games against two of Michigan's best, falling at Detroit Catholic Central in overtime before beating Detroit Country Day by two the following day. Jake Struck totaled five goals and two assists over the weekend; Luke Mulder went 38 of 55 at the X and tallied 30 ground balls; and Ben Godwin made 18 saves against the Shamrocks and eight more against the Yellowjackets. 7. Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.), 8-0
The undefeated Royals return from break April 16 with a trip to Hoosier State rival Cathedral, with the Irish themselves off to a strong start at 7-2. Hamilton Southeastern then heads to 5-1 Noblesville Friday, followed by top Mitten State competition like Detroit Catholic Central and Brother Rice the following weekend. Previous: 7
8. Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.), 7-0
The Hawklets won their lone game of the week, topping Pembroke Hill (Mo.) 12-4 behind a five-goal performance from Fletcher Anderson. John Eckles added two goals and two assists, Sam Komenda had four assists and JP Stegall went 12 of 16 at the X for Rockhurst Jesuit. Previous: 8
9. Lake Forest (Ill.), 6-1
The Scouts scored a couple of wins against solid in-state competition, topping Fremd 15-8 on Wednesday followed by a two-goal win over St. Ignatius on Saturday. This coming week includes a signature showdown April 17 against Loyola Academy, one of the Land of Lincoln's most decorated programs. Previous: 9
10. Brother Rice (Mich.), 7-3
The Warriors have played an absolutely loaded schedule already this month, topping Trinity Louisville and St. Viator, among the top teams in Kentucky and Illinois, respectively, while falling to other regional powerhouses like Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), Lake Forest (Ill.) and St. Xavier (Ohio). Brother Rice enjoys a bit of a respite this week with just one game. Previous: 10

West Top 10
Cherry Creek (Colo.) won its showdown of unbeatens against Arapahoe (Colo.) to keep its spot at No. 3 in the West Region. Cherry Creek is the only unbeaten team in the Top 10.
La Costa Canyon (Calif.) moves into the rankings after its recent win over No. 10 Sacred Heart (Calif.).
The top seven teams are all unchanged, but there are numerous chances to move up with key matchups on the docket. No. 1 Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.) meets No. 4 Torrey Pines (Calif.) this week. No. 2 St. Ignatius (Calif.) will take on some tough out of region competition for the chance to impress.
Many of the region’s teams are jockeying for higher seeds as they head toward the start of playoffs.

1. Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.), 16-3
With a 24-4 rout over Crespi (Calif.) in the Mission League semifinals, Loyola-Los Angeles stays hot on a nine-game winning streak headed into the championship game against St. Francis (Calif.) on April 15. After the tournament, Loyola takes on No. 4 Torrey Pines (Calif.). Previous: 1
2. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 14-2
The Wildcats went 2-1 last week, shutting out St. Francis (Calif.), 13-0, and taking down Midwest Region No. 5 Upper Arlington (Ohio), 10-6. St. Ignatius fell in a narrow 9-7 loss to national No. 13 Chaminade (N.Y.) on the road. Their highly contested out-of-state slate continues at national No. 18 Fairfield Prep (Conn.) and at national No. 10 Lawrenceville (N.J.). Previous: 2
3. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 10-0
Cherry Creek maintains its perfect record after defeating then-No. 9 Arapahoe (Colo.), 15-8, and Kent Denver (Colo.), 17-3. Shane Minisini, Benji Davoll and Wyatt Branish each netted three goals against the Warriors. The Bruins’ league play continues at Denver East (Colo.) this week. Previous: 3
4. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 9-4
Torrey Pines downed all three of its opponents last week, going 18-8 against Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.), taking down Carlsbad (Calif.) 16-4 and defeating No. 8 Sacred Heart (Calif.) 11-5. The Falcons host San Marcos (Calif.) before facing off against No. 1 Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.). Previous: 4
5. Valor Christian (Colo.), 8-2
After a dominant 20-1 home win over ThunderRidge (Colo.), the Eagles battled the No. 2 ranked Northeast team St. Anthony’s to a narrow 9-7 loss. Valor Christian bounced back to down MICDS (Mo.) 15-2. On deck is a pair of conference games against Rock Canyon (Colo.) and Chaparral (Colo.). Previous: 5
6. Marin Catholic (Calif.), 12-4
The Wildcats host a pair of league matchups against Redwood (Calif.) and San Marin (Calif.) before wrapping up the regular season on an East Coast road trip to New Jersey. Previous: 6
7. De La Salle (Calif.), 11-3
The Spartans went 2-0 last week, defeating Corona Del Mar (Calif.) 13-4 to stay undefeated at home before edging past Junipero Serra (Calif.) 10-9 in extra time. Freshman goalkeeper Parker Lee made 19 saves on 28 shots on goal to help secure the overtime victory while Jmo Mitzel, another rookie, won nine faceoffs. Next up De La Salle hosts California (Calif.) and Foothill (Calif.) in a pair of league matchups. Previous: 7
8. Arapahoe (Colo.) 8-1
The Warriors previously undefeated ledger was disrupted by a 15-8 loss to No. 3 Cherry Creek (Colo.). Junior goalkeeper Nicholas Pangborn made 14 saves on 28 shots on goal against the Bruins. Arapahoe closed out the week with a an 11-7 league victory over Cherokee Trail (Colo.). Next is Grandview (Colo.) and Corner Canyon (Utah). Previous: 9
