For the second week in a row, Calvert Hall (Md.) enjoyed success that greatly affected the National Top 25 as well as the Mid-Atlantic rankings. Delbarton (N.J.) also gained momentum with an encouraging opener to claim a spot in the Mid-Atlantic.
IMG Academy (Fla.) jumped a couple of spots in the South, and Cherry Creek (Colo.) was the big mover in the West.

Mid-Atlantic Top 10
Calvert Hall (Md.) needed overtime…again.
The Cardinals vaulted to No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region with another narrow win, this one over previous No. 1 Malvern Prep (Pa.).
No. 2 Archbishop Spalding is also unbeaten through their first seven games and faces a Top-10 showdown this week. Delbarton moves into the rankings after upending Haverford (Pa.), and Landon (Md.) returns to the rankings on the strength of a convincing win over a Benjamin (Fla.) team that upset McDonogh (Md.).

1. Calvert Hall (Md.), 5-0
The Cardinals continue their rise. After trouncing Sts. Peter and Paul (Md.) 21-6, Calvert Hall finished off their week on a huge high with Jackson Mitchell scoring the game-winner for a 12-11 overtime victory over Malvern Prep (Pa.). Peyton Forte had a hat trick and an assist, and Mitchell and Will Schoonmaker each scored two goals apiece. Schoonmaker’s second goal forced overtime and his second assist of the game came on Mitchell’s winner. Brady Stangle made 13 saves and Ben Cuomo won 18 of 27 faceoffs. Calvert Hall has won three overtime games already. St. Mary’s (Md.) is their only game this week. Previous: 3
2. Archbishop Spalding (Md.), 7-0
The Cavaliers swept another three games in a week. In their closest game yet, they prevailed 13-9 over Everest Academy (Ont.). They were impressive in a 13-6 win over Bullis (Md.), then turned around the next day to defeat Upper Arlington (Ohio) 11-5 at Johns Hopkins. The Cavaliers will play at Boys’ Latin (Md.) in their lone game this week. Previous: 2
3. Malvern Prep (Pa.), 5-1
Heath Jones made nine saves and Logan Turley scored four goals and had two assists, but the Friars suffered their first loss of the season, 12-11, in overtime to Calvert Hall (Md.). Jake Bickel added a hat trick and assist, and Mike Ortlieb also had four points on two goals and two assists. Ortlieb had four goals and an assist, Turley scored twice and provided three assists and Danny Lucovich posted a hat trick and assist in a 13-10 win over Loyola Blakefield (Md.). Malvern rebounded from their loss with a 9-5 win over La Salle (Pa.). Malvern remains in the midst of a six-game road swing with games at Taft (Conn.) and Loomis Chaffee (Conn.). Previous: 1
4. Lawrenceville (N.J.), 3-1
The Big Red put together a pair of dominant wins this week. They handed Academy of New Church (Pa.) a 22-7 loss, and then put together an impressive 10-1 win over Boys’ Latin (Md.) to finish the week. In the win over Boys’ Latin, Nick Voultos limited Matt Higgins to just one assist, and Alex Swinnie won 13 of 15 at X. They host St. Sebastian’s (Mass.) and Episcopal (Pa.) this week. Previous: 2
5. Delbarton (N.J.), 1-0
It was an impressive opener for the Green Wave. Facing a Haverford School (Pa.) that already had three games under their belt, the defending Morris County champions built a big lead and then hung tough through a fourth-quarter rally for a 10-8 win. The Green Wave jumped out to a 6-1 halftime lead and were up 8-2 going into the final quarter. Tanner Shimko made 12 saves and Peter Falk had a hat trick plus an assist. 6. Haverford School (Pa.), 3-1
The Fords suffered their first loss, 10-8, to Delbarton (N.J.) despite five goals from Reece Childs and three ground balls from Cam Esposito. Haverford opened the week with a 12-4 win over St. Mary’s (Md.). The Fords go on the road to McDonogh (Md.) this week. Previous: 5
7. Loyola Blakefield (Md.), 5-2
Bennett Cook scored a hat trick and Jesse D’Alonzo stopped seven shots, but the Dons fell to Malvern Prep (Pa.) 13-10. Loyola turned around for an 11-10 win over Western Reserve (Ohio). Cooper Pasko had the game-tying and go-ahead goals for Loyola. Bennett Cook finished with a hat trick and assist. The Dons ran by Penn Charter (Pa.) 16-2 behind four goals from Luca Ball to finish their week. Jacob Klein, Liam Finkel and Noah Blair each had two goals apiece. Teddy Mosher stopped four shots and did not allow a goal. Eddie Webb and Matt Kehring had two helpers apiece. They host a Mount St. Joseph (Md.) team on the rise this week. Previous: 6
8. Boys' Latin (Md.), 4-2
The Lakers finished off their Florida trip with a 12-9 win at St. Andrew’s (Fla.). They returned north for a tough 10-1 loss to Lawrenceville (N.J.). Boys’ Latin has just one game this week, and it pits them against Archbishop Spalding (Md.). Previous: 8
9. Landon (Md.), 6-1
The Bears picked up three wins in the Sunshine State. Landon earned a 15-7 win over the same Benjamin School (Fla.) that had edged McDonogh (Md.). Sean Murray scored four times and had an assist while Jonas Hawkins added a goal and three assists. Murray had a hat trick in an 8-4 win over Jupiter (Fla.). The Bears finished off the trip with a 16-11 win over St. Andrews (Fla.) with Murray picked up five points on another hat trick and two assists, Makana Neverosky and Caden Southworth both scoring twice and assisting on two goals and Aeden Cassidy providing a hat trick. 10. McDonogh (Md.), 3-3
A short-handed Eagles team was edged by Benjamin (Fla.) 8-7 to begin its southern swing. McDonogh responded with a 12-5 win over Jupiter (Fla.) and an 11-8 win St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.). The Eagles are hoping to be healthy when they host Haverford School (Pa.) and play at St. Paul’s (Md.) this week. Previous: 7

SOUTH Top 10
The South Region has a minor shift in their top rankings and a pair of newcomers play their way into the Top 10. IMG Academy (Fla.) moves up two spots after handing Deerfield (Mass.) a defeat in the opener. Unbeaten Lambert (Ga.) cruises into the rankings. They’ve largely dominated their competition. The Woodlands (Texas) also slid into the Top 10. They are only a couple of goals away from having their own perfect start.

1. Benjamin (Fla.), 13-1
In a battle of two nationally ranked top-25 teams, the Buccaneers eked out an upset over then-No. 13 ranked McDonogh (Md.) 8-7, with star sophomore Jack Kelleher contributing a two-goal, two-assist effort. Benjamin then dropped a 15-7 decision to Landon (Md.) before closing the week with a 17-4 drubbing of St. Albans (D.C.). Kelleher had three goals and four assists in the win. Previous: 1
2. IMG Academy (Fla.), 5-0
The Ascenders picked up their first win versus a nationally ranked squad this year by defeating Deerfield (Mass.) 12-10. IMG will have additional opportunities to pick up notable wins. Previous: 4
3. Lake Mary (Fla.), 10-0
The Rams enjoyed their spring break following an unbeaten start to the season. Lake Mary returns to action on March 26 to face Oviedo (Fla.). Previous: 2
4. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 9-1
The Eagles dropped their first contest of the year, losing to one of Colorado’s top squads, Cherry Creek, by a 10-6 margin. ESD recovered from the loss to easily defeat Brophy (Ariz.) 13-3. Previous: 3
5. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 11-2
The Raiders recovered from their disappointing one-goal loss to Boys’ Latin (Md.) with a 15-4 victory over Gilman (Md.). St. Thomas Aquinas concluded its three-game series against Mid-Atlantic squads with an 11-8 loss to McDonogh (Md.). Previous: 5
6. Highland Park (Texas), 9-2
The Highlanders are in the midst of a 15-day spring break before hosting Torrey Pines (Calif.) on Wednesday. Previous: 6
7. St. Andrew’s (Fla.), 10-5
The Scots challenged themselves by facing two nationally ranked squads from the Mid-Atlantic last week, sadly falling just short in both contests. St. Andrew’s lost a 12-9 decision to Boys’ Latin (Md.) and a 16-11 contest to Landon (Md.). Sandwiched between matches was a 12-6 win over Gilman (Md.). St. Andrew’s has one more game in its Mid-Atlantic swing, facing St. Albans (D.C.). Previous: 7
8. Westlake (Texas), 5-2
The Chaps picked up their fifth victory of the season by easily defeating Cardinal Mooney (Fla.) 15-0. Westlake finishes its 12-day break with a contest at Woodlands (Texas) on March 29. Previous: 8
9. Lambert (Ga.), 10-0
The Longhorns continue to play solid lacrosse, winning eight of their first 10 contests by double figures. Lambert picked up blowout wins last week over Alpharetta (Ga.) and West Forsyth (Ga.). Previous: NR
10. The Woodlands (Texas), 7-2
The Highlanders have picked up back-to-back wins by defeating Strake Jesuit (Texas) 16-5 and Memorial (Texas) 23-5. Woodlands’ only losses were by one-goal decisions to IMG Academy (Fla.) and Highland Park (Texas). Previous: NR

midwest Top 10
Culver Academy (Ind.) suffered its first loss, but still is the class of the Midwest Region as they take on a tough national schedule. There is only one change in the rankings. St. Viator (Ill.) debuts at No. 10 after following up their strong 2024 with a couple of impressive performances to open the spring. Upper Arlington (Ohio) lost a cross-region game to national No. 4 Archbishop Spalding (Md.) that they hope can help them down the road.

1. Culver Academy (Ind.), 6-1
The Eagles bounced back from their first loss, to one of the nation's top two teams in St. Anthony's (N.Y.), with impressive wins over St. John's (D.C.) and Gonzaga (D.C.). Top Midwestern foes await in April, including St. Xavier (Ohio) on the fourth and Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) on the 12th. Previous: 1
2. Western Reserve (Ohio), 4-2
The Pioneers split against a pair of top-20 teams this past week, falling to No. 11 Loyola Blakefield (Md.) and topping No. 18 St. Paul's (Md.), with both games decided by a single goal. Tack on WRA's prior game against No. 4 Archbishop Spalding and Ohio State commit Jack Bichelmeyer had nine goals against three ranked opponents and Iona commit Charlie Quinn won 21 of 34 faceoffs. 3. Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), 1-0
The Shamrocks won the battle of Mitten State champions Friday, doubling up on host Detroit Country Day. Villanova commit Lachlan Moffatt scored four of DCC's 11 goals in the victory and Cisco Williams added a goal and two assists. This week includes another fascinating matchup, with Rockford (Mich.) in a rematch of last year's state semifinals. Previous: 3
4. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 1-0
The Patriots ended last season with their first state title following a thrilling championship game against St. Xavier, including five goals from Ohio Player of the Year Jake Struck and 11 second-half saves from Ben Godwin. Liberty started the 2025 campaign in similarly enticing fashion with a one-goal victory over Archbishop Moeller (Ohio), with another Buckeye State power, Dublin Jerome, waiting in the wings April 3. 5. St. Xavier (Ohio), 1-0
Can the Bombers send Khalif Hocker out as a state champion? St. Xavier sure got off to a strong start, topping one of the best teams in the Tar Heel State with its 10-6 win over Charlotte Catholic. More local competition awaits to round out March with Buckeye State foes Archbishop Moeller and Upper Arlington and Hoosier State opponent Cathedral. Previous: 5
6. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 0-1
The Golden Bears were right there among the best of the Buckeye State last year before dropping a close state semifinal to St. Xavier. Upper Arlington was also highly competitive in its 2025 opener, ultimately falling 11-6 to a top-five team in the country in Archbishop Spalding (Md.). The Golden Bears next face the Bombers in a rematch of that 2024 state semi. Previous: 6
7. Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.), 6-0
The Royals kept their perfect record intact throughout their Mitten State trip, including a comeback victory over East Grand Rapids. Quinnipiac commit Kyle Jenkins scored half of Hamilton Southeastern's goals in its 12-10 victory over EGR while Loyola commit David Gould had a hat trick in the opening four minutes of the Royals' 23-1 victory over Forest Hills Central. 8. Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.), 1-0
The Hawklets shone in their 2025 opener, shutting out Saint Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) behind a combined nine saves from juniors Tom Fimmen and Draden Torline and six points apiece from seniors John Eckles and Sam Komenda. After nearly two weeks off, a busy week awaits as Rockhurst Jesuit takes on three foes, including one of the top teams in Kansas (Shawnee Mission East) and Missouri (Chaminade Prep). Previous: 8
9. Lake Forest (Ill.), 2-0
The Scouts' defense was beyond special last season, allowing less than four goals per game en route to a state title. Lake Forest picked up where it left off to start the 2025 season, holding Chicagoland foes Evanston and Glenbard West to a combined two goals. 10. St. Viator (Ill.), 2-0
A year ago, the Lions were among the top teams in Illinois, falling in the postseason only to eventual state champion Lake Forest by a respectable three-goal margin. St. Viator has been no less impressive to start 2025, shutting out Glenbrook South (Ill.), then topping one of the Land of Lincoln's other top teams, New Trier, by seven. High Point commit Michael Tauscher won 80 percent of his faceoffs while Iona commit Franco Caputo (7 goals, 3 assists) and High Point commit Emerson McGrath (5 goals, 5 assists) also had huge weeks. West Top 10
Cherry Creek (Colo.) jumped from eighth to third in the West Region after taking down former No. 3 Torrey Pines (Calif.) to remain perfect through five games. They sit behind Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.) who scored a combined 54 goals in two games last week, and No. 2 St. Ignatius (Calif.) which captured the first Catholic Cup for a memorable week. Santa Margarita (Calif.) moved into the rankings at No. 10 thanks to a win over previously ranked Cathedral Catholic (Calif.), and they’ll try to move up further when they take on another ranked team this week.

The Cubs stay on top after putting up a 22-2 win over Notre Dame (Calif.) and a 32-2 victory over Chaminade (Calif.). Loyola is 6-0 in league play heading into its next matchup against Loyola Academy (Calif.). Previous: 4
2. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 7-1
St. Ignatius was crowned the Catholic Cup champions after taking down then-No. 7 Sacred Heart (Calif.), 11-8, then defeating previously ranked No. 5 Marin Catholic, 17-4, in the title match. The Wildcats take on Menlo School (Calif.), Redwood (Calif.) and Bellarmine (Calif.) this week. Previous: 1
3. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 5-0
Cherry Creek dominated last week’s road trip and came home with three wins, including a ranked victory over then-No. 3 Torrey Pines. The Bruins bested La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 12-5, before defeating the Falcons, 11-8, then took down a previously undefeated No. 3 Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 10-6. 4. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 5-2
Torrey Pines fell, 11-8, to then-No. 8 Cherry Creek (Colo.) for its second loss this season. Sophomore goalkeeper Gavin Henry recorded 10 saves for the Falcons. Up next is a slate of three out-of-region opponents, Gonzaga (D.C.), No. 6 Highland Park (Texas) and Dallas Jesuit (Texas). Previous: 3
5. Marin Catholic (Calif.), 8-2
Marin Catholic made a run to the Catholic Cup championship game after defeating then-No. 6 De La Salle (Calif.), 14-8, before falling, 17-4, to eventual champion No. 2 St. Ignatius. Prior to the tournament, the Wildcats secured wins over Legend (Colo.) and Marin Academy (Calif.). Next up is a pair of league matchups against Novato (Calif.) and Tamalpais (Calif.) before No. 8 Sacred Heart (Calif.). Previous: 5
6. Valor Christian (Colo.), 3-1
Valor Christian is on spring break and gear up to host Park City (Utah) and Legend (Colo.) next week. Previous: 4

In the Catholic Cup tournament, De La Salle fell, 14-8, to No. 5 Marin Catholic (Calif.) before defeating No. 8 Sacred Heart (Calif.), 8-4. Freshman goalkeeper Parker Lee recorded 15 saves across the two games. Next up is Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) and Coronado (Calif.). Previous: 6
