Seventeen-time state champion Milton (Ga.) Lady Eagles face one of their toughest tests of the 2025 spring season when they travel to No. 19 Potomac (Va.) on Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern — and it's our National Game of the Week in high school girls' lacrosse.
Milton, which was won every state championship contested since 2017, is 11-1 on the strength of Ella Pauley. Pauley, a member of the USA Lacrosse All-America Watch List, is an asset out of the midfield and on the draw — skills she will take to Clemson once she graduates.
Potomac, 5-1, downed a pair of regional foes — Penn Charter (Pa.) and St. Anne's-Belfield (Va.) — to bolster its resume and move into the USA Lacrosse High School Girls' National Top 25 this week.
Milton can strengthen its hopes of re-joining the Top 25 with a win. Potomac can further bolster its case as a rising contender in the Mid-Atlantic.
